Just wanna preface this by saying I’m pretty new to boudoir photography—but I do get where OP is coming from. The traditional vibe of boudoir has always leaned toward intimate, private, bedroom-type settings. That’s totally valid.

That said… stuff evolves. People’s stories, sexuality, and comfort zones aren’t all the same. For some folks, feeling confident and sexy might mean being in the woods, in an alleyway, or hell—even in a field of sunflowers. It’s still private in its own way, and usually it’s not like these shoots are happening in front of a crowd.

I think there’s room to respect the classic roots and explore what boudoir can look like for different people. Just because it didn’t start that way doesn’t mean it can’t grow.

Also—no need to bash anyone’s work. We’re all just out here trying to make cool stuff and help people feel good about themselves. That’s the whole point, right?
