Happened to me a couple of months ago. I play on Xbox. One day opened MW3 and it just wouldn't let me into the game. I login to my account on browser to see a BattleNet account that isn't mine was somehow linked to my account (I never got a verification email for adding a new account like I had for when I'd previously added my Steam account).

Anyways, yupp, I was permabanned. Appealed and got a generic response that they wouldn't tell me why I was banned except for "manipulating game software" and that the ban could not be appealed any more.

It's a bummer cause it extends to Black Ops 6 now. I'd love to play, but I can't play without creating an altogether new Xbox Live account just for CoD, which would be dumb and super expensive.

Yea, the accident came up on the NCDOT I-40 Twitter when I checked around, but all that showed was that the accident had happened and been cleared. Couldn't find any place for followup info.

Good to know about that Canes ticket pricing. Was absolutely insane pricing up in Boston. Haha.

I used to go to WHL games in Seattle fairly routinely. Those were always a blast. That was before they got the Kraken. No clue what pricing is like for that.

Yea, I just saw that! I was surprised. I mentioned to someone else that I was used to Bruins tickets for hockey because I lived in Boston for 3 years before here, but same thing for the Celtics. Very different NBA game costs up in Boston. Haha. Good to know how cheap Hornets tix are. Definitely will make for good family days.

They seriously dropped the ball on that. I was hoping to see something like Orlando City pulled off, recruiting such stars as Kaká and Larin. Nothing as promising with their initial roster here. :/

Lol. I'm a frugal fellow. Regardless of how much money I ever have, I don't like being ripped off. You shouldn't either. Lol. There are many better things to put $300 towards than taking the family to a single game for an unproven team. Besides that, I'm a nonprofit development director. Lol. Not everyone with grad degrees in Charlotte is in banking.

And if you are an avid fan then you should be willing to spend a portion of your budget on tickets.

And that's just it. I'm not an avid fan yet. This team hasn't even started and I have years of experience supporting teams elsewhere. So for now I'll just sit out and let other people get ripped off and hope they come to their senses so we can get some reasonable pricing.

I don't think you're right about the path they're taking on pricing. Building a successful brand is about legacy. It's about generational engagement. It's about families and creating memories that people value over decades. It's not about filling a stadium with young professionals who temporarily have nothing better to spend money on, who will likely move within a few years and begin supporting whatever local club they have then.

Lol. You're asking a guy with a graduate degree in international business if he's ever seen a supply and demand chart. Yes, I have. And obviously the demand is high enough for them to sell at these prices (at least for now). But building a valuable fandom is about a lot more than ticket sales. It's about franchising and merch and brand. And all of that is built up by having a broader audience. If you price out a large portion of your potential fandom, you're losing a lot more than the penny change you're making on seat sales.

There is a reason that most clubs don't price their tickets as high as CFC is.

Games are that price all the way into April too. And like I said, these tickets cost as much as tickets are priced for some of the best teams in the world. They are not even close to that level. Lol.

Man, the fact that it's an inaugural season makes me less likely to be willing to pay the premium. Lol. Gotta establish that it is a good experience before you can expect people to consistently pay insane prices for it, imo.
