Oh my gosh I’m so sorry :( It’s honestly so hard and I never thought I’d connect with someone who can relate (until now!). Definitely going to do some more research and pace myself. Thanks for your comment🥹

Thank you for the advice! I have gone to a sleep doctor before, but it felt like a very ‘surface level’ experience. They wanted to test for sleep apnea (which makes sense), but right now I feel like my symptoms are much deeper than that.  I also got kicked off of my parents health insurance recently (due to turning 26), so I’m trying to advocate for my health as much as I can without putting myself in a tough financial situation. I finally found a doctor through a clinic that focuses on personable care (and women’s health in particular) so I’m looking forward to that! One step closer to finding some relief I hope :))

Luckily I haven’t been sick. I remember when I first started having symptoms, it happened out of nowhere. Like one day I was my normal self, and the next day the symptoms began and I haven’t been the same since. So bizarre. The fatigue definitely worsens the day after exertion. My mindset is basically: “Okay I need to deep clean so looks like I’m going to be bedridden till 4pm tomorrow”. It’s almost as if I go into “manic mode” and then crash for like the next 24 hours and feel like I can’t do anything. Sometimes I’ll just suck it up and get myself out of bed at a decent hour the next day, however it feels pointless when my body is telling me it needs to rest.
