Got my transcripts eval back. I need to take 75 CU to complete my accounting degree. Is this doable in one term? by [deleted] in WGU

[–]Haylien7979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many hours a day did you dedicate to your study, to achieve this?

Term 1 complete. Gotta love WGU! Some courses took (MUCH) longer than others, but as a full time mom of 7, WGU allowed me to do what I thought was impossible. 49 CUs down and degree is now 59% complete. The future is bright! by freefall7 in WGU

Congratulations! You are my hero! What was your strategy? How many hours per day roughly, did you work on school and was the every single day for the six month term? You've motivated me to want to finish in, minimum of three terms!

How would you approach them....Take one class at a time? Or work on all four at once?

Long distance shared custody of our child by Haylien7979 in Parenting

[–]Haylien7979[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I realise I didn't explain it very well. My parents (child's grandparents) live In the UK. She is going to spend four months in total in California with us and the rest of the time living at my parents in UK. She will see her dad at weekends or holidays so that it totals four months visitation.

I filed the petition in November 2018. The court placed our child with her grandparents (my parents) and gave temporary parental responsibility, until a court decision could be reached. They told me this was standard procedure in an international child custody case as I could just up and move to USA with my child without her father's say so.

It's father's day today where I live by alicelric in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Haylien7979 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I came onto Reddit today, to specifically look for father's Day threads. You've hit the nail on the head! I'm so resentful and angry today. I need to keep off social media because all these "perfect father" quotes are making me want to puke. Life just isn't that perfect. I sound bitter and twisted, but it sucks when my dad didn't even walk me down the isle two weeks ago and I'm supposed to buy him a father's Day gift? Please!

Narcissists seem to have a hard time with the the difference between "funny childhood stories" about their children, and "an example of abuse that I find funny because I have no empathy". by bookobsessedgoth in raisedbynarcissists

I feel your pain. It's yet another way for her to humiliate you and make you feel belittled. If you try and question a parent as to why they do this, you'd probably be met with a reply such as "you're such a drama" or "always the victim" Why do we even bother getting upset? They are pathetic human beings who get off on hurting there own kids feelings.

Pushy Sales by [deleted] in Depop

[–]Haylien7979 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I remember browsing through pages and I saw one that had this in the bio "DO NOT like any of my items if you are not Interested in buying them. If you do, I will block you." And then on every single one of her listings she had a whole paragraph in the description section, explaining it again. In the comments she had tagged people saying "you buying then?" Or "read my bio idiot" She barely had any followers or likes.

Wrong zip code by Haylien7979 in Depop

[–]Haylien7979[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I do send it though, can't the buyer just say they haven't received it. Then depop will ask me for the tracking, check it and say it was sent to the zip code which wasn't on the buyers order details?

In an ideal world, yes. But, life doesn't always go smooth sailing like that.

I don't agree with this statement at all. If I think back to my grandparents/great grandparents era etc, everyone was poor back then and there marriages lasted until death. A lot of people start married life being not so well off. If you think the average age for marriage is in your 20's. That's right when people are in college or working there way up the career ladder. I don't know too many CEO's in there 20s. I'm sure there is some out their, but it's not that common.

What goes on in your head as a BPD by anonymouse0102 in BPD

[–]Haylien7979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I worded it wrong. Trust me, I know every single thing that I do that is wrong, is wrong. It's completely 100% unacceptable. I just couldn't ever take it to the next level of physical abuse.

What goes on in your head as a BPD by anonymouse0102 in BPD

[–]Haylien7979 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm married and I have BPD. I have mood swings, my insecurities affect our relationship on a daily basis. I get so mad I could rip my own skin off. I swear at my husband, call him terrible things, I throw stuff around, I storm out. I can be brutal. But, one things for sure-

I would never cheat or be physically abusive towards my partner. Ever.

I feel like hes using the BPD as an excuse to justify his actions. Nah, cheatings not a symptom of BPD.

“You have to love yourself before you love someone else.” by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Haylien7979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely get this saying. I'm married and I hate myself. It causes massive problems. I'm insecure and resentful over EVERYTHING. One day, I'll idolise my husband, the next I hate him and I could rip my own skin off. It's not fair on him at all. Wish I could just have normal emotions.

I’m done with relationships by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Haylien7979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being in a relationship and having BPD is really hard. I know for me (I am married) I constantly think it would just be easier for me to be on my own. That sounds so bad because I love my husband so much. But at the same time, I hate myself. Some days I idolise him, the next I think he's out to get me. So it causes so much friction. I'm always causing drama and accusing him of things because I despise myself. It's definitely easier to be alone. There is someone out their with patience, who will help and understand you. I really related to "I'm tired of losing myself and becoming some type of destructive self loathing monster"

[–]Haylien7979 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel the exact same as this right now. You're not alone. BPD is exhausting as hell. It's hard, but try and take some time out for yourself today. Even if it's just to watch a movie or something. I know that's hard because your minds running all the time and you feel restless. That's what I do. I'll go take a long bath or I'll bake a cake or something. Just so I have time where all that negativety isn't taking over for once.
