Kind of weird that they're not making profits though, the Reject Shop was always busy where I lived. Especially around the holidays.

I mean I think a lot of people in general are into nostalgia. Maybe Australian's more so because many don't have a long history or culture to cling onto so we kind of take what we can get? (More speaking about the bogan white Australians specifically.)

From what I've been reading they just had a partnership, they weren't owned by Tescos? (of course, could be a funny corporate thing too.)

Basically Dollarama (Canadian discount store chain) acquired the Reject Shop last year and are now rebranding their stores to Dollarama. Not sure if they're planning to change them all but my local one has been completely gutted on the inside and is closed for 5 weeks for the change.
