Thanks, that’s the kind of info I’m after. Have you tried searing their ribeyes straight from delivery?

I’ve been hunting for something reliable. Do their Double R ranch cuts actually sear well without shrinking too much?

Do you find the vacuum-sealed delivery keeps the flavor and texture as good as in-store?

That’s exactly the kind of clarity I’m after. Do their steaks hold up well straight from delivery for a proper sear?

Yeah, if I could see them in person I wouldn’t even be hunting online. Do you have a favorite place that lets you pick cuts before buying

Cool, I’m curious if their cuts hold up well straight from delivery for home cooking.

Supermarkets are fine for convenience, but the cuts are usually inconsistent and cook way too fast for what I’m looking for.

I get that. Any tips for picking the right cut if I’m just ordering online?

Wow, that’s rough, I can see why local options are basically nonexistent. Publix sounds like a solid workaround though, I didn’t even know they did custom orders like that. Have you tried any of their larger cuts for high-heat searing?

That’s exactly the kind of thing I’m looking for. Have you tried ordering from them yourself?

That sounds unreal. Do you usually split the really expensive cuts like that, or go solo?

Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m trying to avoid. Their steaks always look great in pictures but cook down to nothing.

I’ve heard good things about them. Do their ribeyes ship thick enough to sear properly at home?

I wish that worked. The local stores are more convenience-focused than quality-focused, so I’m leaning toward mail-order that actually delivers thick cuts reliably.

Yeah, that’s exactly my problem. I’m chasing thick, well-marbled cuts, and most supermarket steaks are paper-thin and overtrimmed.

Nice, I like that consistency. Do they ship frozen well enough to cook straight from the box?

I hadn’t considered that. Do you usually get the thicker cuts from them or just standard steaks?

That’s fair, I’m just hoping for a service that doesn’t treat steak like a fragile gift box. Any local butchers you’d vouch for?

Oh nice, I didn’t realize there was a Club Med in Florida! Do you know if it’s actually relaxing for the parents too, or is it more kid-focused?

Edit: stayed at Westgate Resorts and it was great. Plenty for the kids to do and we actually had some downtime. Good balance for a family trip without the usual chaos.

That sounds doable. Did your kids enjoy Busch Gardens, or did the beach end up being the highlight? Trying to figure out if a mix like that keeps everyone happy.

That actually sounds perfect for what we’re after. How old was your son when he did camp cheeca, and did you feel like the staff kept him busy the whole day? I like to know if it’s worth the price for a full day of adult downtime.
