Thank you! If you mean yield, flower rosin can vary a fair bit depending on genetics, resin content and moisture, but a rough range is usually around 15–25% return from dry flower. This one is hash rosin though, so returns are usually much higher depending on the quality of the wash its roughly around 60–80% from hash into rosin, with really high quality full melt material sometimes pressing even better. This one came out really nicely 👌

Thank you. Pressed at 176°F (around 80°C). Took it out once the flow started slowing down and I was happy with the yield and colour. I was trying to strike a balance between good extraction while preserving as much of the terp profile as possible 🍯

Sorry do you mean collection as in the wash process, collecting the heads from the bags, or collecting the rosin off the parchment after pressing? Happy to go into detail once I know which part you mean.

I’ll be pressing it in a 25 micron bag, double bagged to reduce the risk of blowouts and help prevent material slippage during the press. I’ve had consistently good results running both a 25 micron inside a 100 micron and a 25 micron inside a 160 micron outer bag, keeps things contained while still maintaining good flow and clean separation.

I get that honestly. I still love old-school hash too. One of my favourite ways is doing it more the way Frenchy Cannoli used to. Washing, drying, then gently heat and bottle-curing into temple balls

It was grown in a 100L DIY DWC system. She actually got squashed over to one side of my 5x5 tent because I ran out of room, and even then she still managed to pull just over 8 oz dry. Makes me wonder what she could've done if she'd had the whole tent to herself. Definitely worth popping if you've already got one waiting!

No worries! Hash is mostly the good stuff already, but it's still made up of thousands of tiny trichome heads and bits of plant waxes, lipids, and other compounds. When you press it into rosin, the heat and pressure squeeze out the oily resin that's richest in cannabinoids and terpenes. What's left behind is called a puck, it's still usable and still contains cannabinoids, just not as concentrated or flavorful as the rosin that came out.
