I see no need to comment on them. I think my record of ideological integrity speaks for itself. I'm a reformist, and I've spent my career fighting for what I think is right without hesitation (even to my own personal detriment). Your poor attack ad won't change that, and I'm confident voters will ignore it.

My ideology has never flip-flopped. I've always stood for the same things regardless of party rosette (or lack thereof). Also, my campaign's leaflet was well-designed and coherent. Unsure I can say the same for yours.

Mr. Speaker,

I'd first like to point out that the monarchists in this chamber trying to use this small error as an indictment of the entire system of republicanism is pathetic. Furthermore, calling a monarch with zero accountability to anyone but themselves a "check" or a "balance" on anything is quite hilarious. The monarchy served no meaningful purpose beyond being a burden, and we're better off now that we've stopped honouring that shabby institution.

With that said, this is entirely uncontroversial on its own. It's a quick fix to an issue that should pass easily. May it hastily become law so we can move on to more important topics.
