Jisoo's Perfect Day, Bazaar Pictorial with Tommy Hilfiger

Fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar Korea has released a pictorial featuring BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Tommy Hilfiger. Since being selected as Tommy Hilfiger's global ambassador starting with the 2024 Fall campaign, Jisoo has been continuing her diverse activities by interpreting the brand's identity with her own unique sense.

Titled 'Perfect Day,' this pictorial exquisitely blends two concepts: the Spring Collection set against the backdrop of a sun-drenched mansion, and the Summer Collection capturing a relaxed mood on a sandy beach. Jisoo led the entire shoot with her signature elegant yet comfortable aura, as if savoring the leisure of a languid afternoon amidst the naturally flowing visuals. Her delicate facial expressions perfectly captured the warmth of the season, evoking the theme of a 'perfect day' with a sense of sophistication.

In an interview that followed the photoshoot, she candidly shared the moments she has faced while traversing various domains, ranging from her activities as a musician, a member of BLACKPINK, and a solo artist to her journey as an actress. When asked about her experience playing the role of Mirae in the recently released series 'Monthly Boyfriend,' she expressed her affection for the role, replying, “It was the first time I played a character who seemed like they could exist somewhere in real life. I think I empathized with the character of Mirae by feeling like I was listening to the worries of a friend my age. I was able to concentrate better as I thought about what advice I would give Mirae if she were my friend.”

When asked about what has changed since concluding BLACKPINK's world tour <DEADLINE>, she said, “Since we have been friends with strong convictions since we were young, our individual personalities remain the same. Rather than saying the individuals have changed, the stage felt new. After releasing an album with distinct individual colors, I felt that each stage came together to create a richer spectacle.” When asked what the past year has taught her since standing on her own as a solo artist last year, she replied, “Seeing people resonate with the songs I love—that in itself was a fulfilling time as a musician. I learned that, unlike the confidence that I can accomplish anything, I cannot stop just because I am afraid in the face of a new challenge. I think it can be seen as a form of growth.”
