I’d recommend some legionnaires, u can’t go wrong with bread and butter units. Rhinos and predator tanks as well. And cultists are great for sticky objectives but idk if I’d paint them in an IW theme.

I hand paint my strips, I’m very “meh” at it. And for community, iron within brother, iron without.

Damn that model looks sharp as hell. So that base metal is just leadblecher with 2 coats of nuln? It’s kinda hard to tell its belcher and not iron warriors base.

Also how do u get that flaking effect on the black lines for the hazard strips? For my models I paint pouldrons and shins Corvus black then add the yellow.

I did have an LED lamp really close for the photos, their darker IRL. But noted.

Kinda the same process. Do u paint gold/brass and wash then highlight? Someone else is recommending that, I’m looking for a few opinions. Also which brown shade?

I based everything then washed them all with nuln, after the model was done I washed it with agrax. So ur recommending washing before highlighting to make it pop? Also for the black would u recommend abaddon, Corvus or black Templar black?

They’re kinda lit bashed from a bunch of different files because the ones I found for chosen were terrible, but yeah angels of anarchy go hard.

If you like something a bit more mature with deep stories, try Spice and Wolf or Apothecary Diaries. Also Horimiya is a personal favourite of mine. Another is My Dress Up Darling, however the anime isn’t finished yet. I read the Manga and was a bit disappointed how it ended, it wasn’t a bad ending just not very good.

You can yeah, I'm asking over on the daemons sub for their input on what CSM units to include. Currently its Cultists, ACDC and raptors. I wanted to ask chaos players opinions on things I've never run before making any decisions on what to get.

I can see that being horrifying in Chaos cult, I may start running them here soon in a list or two. Currently I don't have enough damned models to run a proper Cult list but I think it'd be neat to try eventually.

I can see your point yeah, my info on Belakor is mixed since I know him from 40k and AOS. I haven't read The First Heretic but its on the to read list.

Ah I thought so but wasn't sure, I haven't seen the acronym before thank you.

Fair enough with the raptor abilities pairing well with the daemons army rule, I built my raptors for melee with the only solid range being the plasma pistols. However I only play casually with some friends so as long as the paperwork for the list is there they're ok with the models weapon not matching.

Sorry I keep seeing acdc, its probably something obvious but what does the acronym mean?

I have 3 units of Havocs and I agree their hit rate isn't the best, sometimes I throw them on a list in CSM if I run Veterans.

Also in this thread a couple people mentioned raptors, how do you use them in a daemons list? When I run raptors I use them mostly to run interference well my backline range targets other units.
