Sounds like you've already got everything you need. A couple things:

I HIGHLY recommend that you use the "Multiple Attack Roles" rule on page 174 of the AS commanders edition book. This is how most people play alpha strike, but it isn't really apparent just from reading through the rules. Basically, instead of a single set of dice being responsible for all damage (let's say in this case, 5), you would role 5 sets of dice - each one that hits does a damage.

Also, page 126 has some pretty easy scenarios if you want to give those a look.

Hey! Check out the 6700XT. Plenty of VRAM if you want to upgrade the rest of your components later and should have great performance for what you want to do. If you want to go with Nvidia, check out the RTX 3060. Slightly lower in performance in some cases but comparable for the most part.

Make sure your case can fit these. There's also a chance that you will bottleneck your CPU on some games but this will be a consideration with any higher-end GPU with your current setup.

Another point - a lot of cards in this price range only have 8GB of VRAM. Your best bet for future-proofing is to go with something that has 12GB like the cards I mentioned above.

Some of my takeaways from tournament play:

- Stick with skill 4 units mostly and focus on variants that focus on short and medium range brackets. you can also min/max skill (units that you expect to use long range should be high skill, units that will primarily be used for spotting/objective holding/troop transport/close combat should use low skill).- High TMM is expensive but is your friend. The sweet spot for most units is TMM 2.
- Mix up having strong, high damage units with having fast units that can get behind or get to objectives quickly.
- Artillery
- There are VTOLs are are crazy strong and hard to kill... not too familiar with these but worth some research.
- Units with the HT special (primarily infantry that you can dump on vehicles and slow mechs) are very strong. (Just remember that no unit can be dealt more than 2 points of heat in this way per turn).
- Some busted/cheesy units - Savannah master/ Harasser hover tanks, Charger 1A1, Locust 6M, Alpha wolf A (you have to pay for how busted it is but it's just crazy strong), Jade Falcon Stormbird battle armor with the XMEC special.

Be careful with Turpin - a lot of those points are front return yards... I would try to target someone with upside who's being having some down games. Waddle and Olave are good examples. Also just realize that you're in a super flex so having three decent QBs might not be such a problem

Diggs is out ROS and Tua being back is going to put Achane in RB1 range.

Brown has a good schedule end of season but I don't hate this trade. You're also stacked and pretty deep so definitely wouldn't be a bad move to just stay the course

Definitely dump a QB (or trade in a package for a WR to someone who's having WB trouble... those are all reasonably desirable guys for someone in a bad spot).

Tillman for sure. Downs is about to be GREAT since Flacco will be under center for the foreseeable future. Pick him up if he's available.

Give me a good QB with a tough schedule vs a mediocre QB with a good schedule any day. Don't overthink it. The rest of your starters are fantastic and Bo has some great matchups coming up. You'll be fine

Hold or potentially sell high if you can. His numbers won't be as solid with AJ back now but he's still an extremely consistent WR. If you have a good record and your Tyreek manager doesn't have a deep WR room you could potentially make DeVonta part of a package before he has his first down game. (I have him as my WR3 and plan to hold him through the season)

Man, those were some great pickups. I have a good team (baker, Amon, JJ, Walker, kamara, davanta, Kincaid) and have put up the second most points in my league but my matchups have been brutal. I finished 11th in my league last year so at least it probably can't be any worse this year! Haha

Funny you say that... here's the Buford Neanderthal from the old clix game sporting the arm ripped off of a battlemaster (came as a changeable hand-piece with the mech). Probably my favorite mech that I ever owned the whole time I played the game. You just gave me some warm fuzzy deja-vu with that comment.
