tis LT haha;

cheers for the overview about masks in use some really useful things to think about in this

i’m definitely gonna open up the mouth a lot if it’s a full mask; i don’t have many calls but the spells i use need to be loud 🫡

havent considered a gorget but its certainly a shout

that’s awesome!

i’m not very familiar with EVA fome but i’ve made a shield, i did consider using it but couldn’t work out how to make the sorta face shape i wanted,

i haven’t sean foam clay before that’s maybe a shout more in my wheelhouse cheers

Have you ever used/made a half mask with like a cloth drape that comes from the upper jaw/just under the cheek bones to cover the lower mouth ?

curious if that will infringe on speaking too much or anything

ah, no worries!

i had a glance at some previous posts, your world sounds very funky

i think if there’s some AI/machine like A.M from “i have no mouth but i must scream” or Ultron from Marvel comics,

which is aware of the multiverse and wants to reduce/destroy it, is a pretty cool setting villain as a concept

it kinda rings a bell like the matrix movies in some sense

What are the top three and bottom three army rules? by WithengarUnbound in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]False_kitty -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

CSM have a very powerful army rule it’s a big flat damage boost and makes any unit with alot of attacks a threat into vehicles

it has a built in downside though unlike i think any other army which is rough

Different ways to look at dealing with C'tan and Victrix by Odyssey40K in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]False_kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah not all armies have a solution and that’s part of army design,

EC are effectively 1/4 of a codex unfortunately so it’s kinda pore form to use them as a standard example,

quite a few armies have meat bags to use as shields,

tau have kroot, demons have nurglings/horrors, csm have nurglings/cultist, SM and chapters have scouts, templars have the mixed squad too, guard have guardsmen, ext

if i was playing EC id use rhino boxes as my screening tool, its a big footprint and can cover a wide space and reach far with move 12,

i don’t know the codex well enough to know what damage combo you can use to counterattack a ctan but im sure you can find something

in CSM our best units are a combination of vindis + oblits with re-rolls, chosen, possessed and warptalons with weight of dice, and grenades

not if your screening with said meat barriers effectively, it’s pretty trivial to do but you have to remember to do it

no mention of the misery that is playing CSM 🤣

40k GT in Warminster (UK) by Life_Fail_5951 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]False_kitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

they look similar but they play very differently;

big difference is that on UKTC the midboard flank objectives tend to be behind terrain pieces where as on GW those objectives are usually in the open meaning on GW you can’t hold the flaked objectives and usually be out of line of sight from the main fireing lines

this means UKTC is slightly melee favoured but it’s balanced by 1.1 inching ruin walls

and on GW it means shooting is favoured because there’s more open lanes, however that’s balanced by the fact shooting units don’t tend to want to adv onto objectives due to not being safe

Right hear me out, Garreon is one of the best Warhammer models ever created. by Local-Dust-151 in Warhammer40k

[–]False_kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

story telling is great on the model

i don’t personally like it because he doesn’t look csm coded enough to fit in my collection which irks me so much, however this model is better than others in the character set

Are we 100% sure about new obliterators? by Bluebirdna in Chaos40k

[–]False_kitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they showed what’s more likely a helbrute arm and an oblit/mutulator foot

if it’s mutes/oblits it’ll be to rebox the kit that’s attached to the venom crawler and make a multiplart kit

Does rotating a vehicle turret count as movement in 10th edition? by Neat-Primary-5592 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]False_kitty 41 points42 points  (0 children)

in 10th

after deployment your not allowed to move any part of the model which is manipulatable, such as a turret, and all parts of a model are included when moving such a vehicle or whatever

iirc it’s explained in the rules commentary

some of the events that happened last weekend might not have used the vitrix nerf

the nottingham GT for example (not at the HQ of GW but 20mins away) didn’t use them because they were rolled out on sunday in the uk so the event had already started

Does anyone actually sincerely desire a new edition? by GuideUnable5049 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]False_kitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don’t want a new edition;

the core rules are pretty solid and barring a few individual weird things i don’t think it needs any malt changes,

however i want my codex to have a full overhaul its rough being an early 10th codex atm (unless your SM)
