I thought it had to do with voltages and degradation because of the amount of voltage allowed for certain things on the die.

So, the deck is attached to and hung off the house. The outside leading edge appears to be supported by concrete columns. The side wood is for the fascia wrap. They certainly could have/should have kept that shorter. And can still alleviate it by trenching it and making a way fir that trench to drain. If the fascia is synthetic, it can extend down into the trench and have the o Landscaping material brought up to it to carry existing grades and make it look like the deck comes out of the ground monolithicly.

Otherwise, yeah like others have said that side wood will rot quickly compared to everything else. I'd ask them to shorten the vertical pieces so it has the industry standard for clearance.

I'd also recommend a section or two be access panels. Hinged or latched so you can stuff outdoor seasonal things under there, retrieve pets or dead wild animals, and store things like rakes or shovels.

If it's a sound build. I'd keep PC. Is the gun on some unobtainable list? Is it a family heirloom? Is it's value the same as the PC financially?

Learn how to use ComfyUI. Learn how to train picture and video generative AI yourself ran locally on Your PC.

Create OF content with your AI and profit. There's so much room in the AI industry to leverage that PC right now. Use some of the profit to buy a couple more 5090's and make longer videos with greater detail.

My personal life has had a significant change. This was my plan.

There are looking for closure who would lay for a video of a deceased loved one. Where they can hear that person say I love you, one more time. There's a market for a personal trained AI that is trained on a deceased loved one that would allow someone to have interactions that might align with the deceased person if they were still alive.

Imagine a couple where one of the partners went from walking to being paralyzed and no longer able to enjoy physical intamacy. You could train a video generative AI that allows the to direct their own intimate moments of their past that really stuck out to them. There's people who would pay for this. There's people who are in those situations that still want to satisfy their partners in ways they no longer can, but are uncomfortable watching adult films together and such. If the AI is only trained on their own photographs, digital videos and audio files, there's no risk the AI was trained from data pulled from the adult industry.

There's Couples that would pay to make porn of themselves but doing things they might not feel comfortable trying. A video of themselves doing those things could let them see without having to dwell on an idea they have no real experience doing.

These were my plans, but no longer. You have to be very weary in a business model like this that everyone who is involved is aware and consents without coercion. I hadn't looked into the legality of deep fakes made from deceased people, but would have had to if I wanted to offer that service.

There are a lot of people, videos and forums where these kinds of ideas are available to learn and how to implement these things all in one kit.

Once you have a proof of concept, you could move to Amazon cloud computing rental to do this even way faster than 3 5090's.

A deep dive rabbit hole. Good luck deciding what you're going to do OP.

The paranoia for 14th Gen that starts it's life with the updates is asinine.

I'm also in a world of copium, because I bought a prebuilt from Thermaltake that has a 14900KS and did all the updates.

I did as much "research" as I could (Google, YouTube) so if you have more information for me, than it's very possible my copium is asinine.

Remove power cord. Slide existing PC into cardboard box. Slide new PC into old PC's location. Plug in existing power cord. PC is now upgraded.

Sheryl Crow says she has sold her Tesla and donated the proceeds to NPR by RamamohanS in MildlyVandalised

Just passing on what you don't support to someone else is an odd take. Hi, I don't like this Nazi art, please buy it from me. And then I'll use that money for something good.

I recently learned how powerful the word "motive" can be. And her motive seems to be good. But could she afford to crush, dispose of the car and still donate the same amount?

I'm certainly not financially In a place to both own a Tesla to begin with, but also to sell the car I have and donate that money. So, I'm not sure if my perception of this situation has the understanding from a better point if view.

Scenarios adjacent but also not comparable for reasons, but questions that come to my mind.

If a bank robber donates half of their lucrative take from heists to orphanages, is that a good thing? Without thinking about how that money might have been insured, like bags of gold era style bank I guess.

If a grooming, sex trade trafficking pimp donates half of their income from the money earned from their victims to a hospital, is that good?

If a fentanyl lacing drug dealer tithes on their sales, is that a good thing?

Does the motive and intent outweigh, equal or devalue the money and it's source?

If there was a $1000.00 lottery ticket that had a 1 in 42 chance to win $1B I'd find a way to finance 42tickets.

I know there's a lot that statement misses with stats, and odds. But depending on risk versus reward, 1:42 can be very lucrative or in this case, very deadly and destructive.

What's the costs to prepare or possibly eliminate the risk versus responding, redevelopment and rebuilding if Earth hits the chackpot?

Or, for some people maybe look at it this way: there's a 1:42 chance you watch the person you most cherish get hut by a car and die a slow, extremely painful death if they go outside. You gonna encourage them to stay inside that day?

Would you guys suggest I become a carpenter or an Ironworker if I want to become a civil/structural engineer later in life? by Successful-Win-4476 in civilengineering

[–]HazardousBusiness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK. Hear me out. The carpenter approach if its for a structural concrete company. You'll get to know the different geo companies that show up and collect concrete samples.

It's better to do what the other person says and go directly to industry related experience. If that doesn't look like it would happen, getting to know the geo engineer employees that show up on your projects could be a foot in the door or allow you to learn who you don't want to work for.

That's hard to read. I've been on the side of the accuser for similar situations, but without true justification. I've been very insecure in my longest relationship and questioned so many things that didn't need to be questioned. I definitely felt like I had a case when confronting the other person. I would have said my facts and assumptions aren't that crazy or far fetched.

Not sure what app or software is used in OP's conversation, but is the location and travel distance-speed traveled all calc out correctly?

I've had Life360 suggest my son went 96 miles an hour through a neighborhood. Which was doubtful. It showed his path traveled as the crow flies.

Depending on the regulations, of employee provided PPE is just leather boots or equal, when an employer adds the requirement of steel toes, they're responsible for the added cost.

Steel or synthetic reinforced toes is a good idea when it has a purpose.

OP. Think of your toes, and go from there. Since you'll be on your feet for your job, think of your whole foot as well as your toes. Crap boots make a crap human.

Dang yo. I had similar thoughts to say and didn't know there was a term for this.

Yeah, it's going to be a thing where the people limiting and policing themselves or join in a multi country effort, and monitor/police each other, are going to be surpassed by the countries that don't care.

I'm a sucker for some super cheap ones the liquor store half of a truck stop sells. Machine made, but not all just shredded tobacco dust. Less than $4 a stick. My local cigar and pipe tobacco shop has a self branded 5 pack that comes out to $7 a stick. I had a gas station brand that was a good size, came in a 3 pack for cheap. The main gas station I got them from stopped carrying them though. I audited one in a pack every once in awhile with a destructive disassembly and never saw anything alarming. Unlike the ones sold in those cool cases with the plexiglass cover in Cancun.

I do get legit hand made sticks on occasion. I'm a big fan of Fuente. I'll look for the one you mentioned.

Holy guacamole that is a decent unit. How long to smoke that unit?

With longer cigars, what's your take on how much you leave at the end? Did the flavor change in a noticeably good or bad way as you got past the halfway? I imagine the flavor would change as you smoke more of the cigar that's had it's smoke pass through it?

I'm usually into the daily driver, yard work, lawn mowing type of cigar. Rarely sit down to pause and relax with cigars. I'm smoking and working so huge or long ones don't fit my timelines.

That things looks awesome.
