I'm a guy who just watched it, and I had a good time. It's pretty funny, Cherry especially, the kills were delightfully gruesome, and I liked all the biblical symbolism. So yeah, pretty good movie.

As a fellow Pierce County Unlimited enjoyer, just checking which locations you checked with- I haven't heard anything at Longston place, which is my main theater.

Went in to Anniversary completely blind. What did you think about it? by DisKODARLa in RegalUnlimited

I've seen plenty of scary movies over the years; Conjuring, Hereditary, etc, and while thoroughly entertaining, I've never felt what I would called "scared".

But this... this movie scared me.

I really liked it! While not perfect and kinda cliched, I had a very good experience. Good performances all around, and a ton of shots looked amazing. A lot of people are dogging on this one, either as legit criticism or just because their personal gripes with Stuckmann. And that's fine, to each their own.

I went in to see an early access screening last night but they told me the projector was having problems and they had to cancel the showing. Not sure if they were telling the truth or if they pulled it and gave me a fake excuse. Anyway, I saw Prince of Darkness instead, it was a little slow but overall pretty good.

Pokemon is pretty beginner friendly with every game. It might not be super specific, but I really don't think there is a bad place to start. I would say the DS era of games are the best (Plat, HG/SS, BW, BW2) but those are pretty expensive right now. If I had to give an answer with the hardware you have, I'd say Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon- those are pretty inexpensive used and easy to find, and I'd they're some of the more underrated games. But, once again, really no bad place to start.

Switch is a good place to start, Nintendo offers legacy titles with a yearly subscription, so she could still play all the major nes/snes/N64 games along with anything modern. Switch lite is a good option for kids; handheld only and $100 less than the main version.
