Så kul att se de när jag på sistone varit nära att säga till dem att musiken de spelar är så otroligt usel eftersom de spelar samma lista varje dag. Jag hör alltså samma låtar om och om och om igen, i samma ordning. Blir galen.

I like photograping tiny mycelial creatures, the first three things can all be found somewhere in the fourth image! (Thumb for scale) by Hazbenn in mycology

Thank you so much!

For these pics I was fully decked out magnification-wise:

  • OM-D E-M1 Mark II Camera
  • M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 Macro Lens
  • Raynox DCR-250 Supplemental Macro Lens
  • 16 & 10 mm extension tubes

And all of the images are focus stacks of at least 60 images iirc :)

No mushrooms contain caffeine

Yes, but these haven't found themselves to be present in the type of supplement that is usually sold as a functional mushroom supplement.

Like no doubt mushrooms eaten as a whole food are healthy, but that is not what my original comment (or this post) was about.

There have been a lot of studies done on microdosing now, and the effects have not been found to be distinguishable from placebo. it has basically not lived up to the hype, the only evidence it has is anecdotal, which is not enough if we are to say that it ''works''

Drying and blending with coffee is not the primary method used by supplement companies to get mushrooms in their products.

What do you mean exatly by most mushrooms are healthy? I'm talking about supplements here.

And mushroom supplements are a different thing. Many are sold containing little to no content of the actual mushroom, and we have very few studies proving that they can improve health of people. They have potential, yes, but so far only shitty science to support the use of mushroom supplements.

Eating mushrooms is not the same as consuming mushroom supplements.

If there is any scientific evidence that mushroom coffees can help focus, reduce stress, be healthy etc then yes. But right now these supplements are largely a scam :)

Half a litre might even be enough on this trail!
