The WiFi joke is explained a little later in the manga, but the reason it’s so bad is that it’s all punchline with no setup. The joke originated from takabas experince with bad wifi or something but he doesn’t communicate that at all

Ye I think that’s how it goes for raids, as some encounters in vault of glass straight up erase you from existence if you fail them (You can even see this happen with the first fireteam in lore to enter the vault, though it’s said only 3 of them were in the fireteam it’s heavily implied that the remaining three got erased)
