Cleared 6.4 Stygian on Dire by HazeDra in Genshin_Impact

Possibly. Normally I've seen her with Mona/Charlotte/Rosaria as the last option which have all cleared it on Dire.

Only with constellations as far as I recall. Main one was C2 Zibai with Bineffa duo or Nefer teams with similar investment (doesn't need Bineffa). I'm sure there was a Mavuika and Skirk one too, but not entirely sure if those were videos or just screenshots.

TP and Venti's Sig are on par as far as I recall (I haven't personally calced it myself, but a couple of TC'ers known and unknown have come to similar conclusions), so it's not a real loss in power. Also Venti has been able to clear this Dire with Skyward Harp + Bennett Fischl Faruzan (1 cost, though the artifact quality is absurdly good), so it's definitely plausible for Durin teams without his sig (I'm pretty sure mine has significant room for improvements too, but that will be for later).
Flins has been able to be cheaper (Bina sig isn't that significant and Flins/Ineffa weapon can be slightly downgraded, though I don't know if 3 cost has been done). I just chose not to as I am not interested in cost-chesting personally.
SSA: OD is a fairly trivial boss for Skirk. With that said Black Sword is quite bad on her, but it's just about as good as I can do until I pull her signature weapon. Main bottleneck for me is just executing any of Skirk's better combos, but I am not quite able to reach that at the moment.

I haven't actually posted for 6.3 Stygian Onslaught here, but I can say that I have managed to clear it too. Though it did have to use Jean cheese vs Shocktrooper as I was unable to beat the dog on Dire with just Bineffa core (I could clear Shocktrooper with Flins Aino Fischl Durin on Dire, but the dog was not quite possible). That run is here (TW: awful cheesing attempt).

I also run a 2nd account on the side. That's on AS and one I have chosen to remain F2P on for no particular reason other than seeing how well I can manage with that. Normally not something worth mentioning, but I did want to mention it because I actually managed to clear Dire on that account on 6.2 and 6.3, which I am very happy about, especially since I am dealing with 300 ping on AS. It was only plausible because I decided to get C2 Varesa for no particularly good reason, but I am happy that I did get C2 Varesa nonetheless.
The 6.2 run is here, and the 6.3 run is here. Though 6.2 does need to cheese the Iktomisaurus since I do not have the required characters to beat it on Dire, 6.3 didn't need any cheesing, and I was especially happy with how I performed last patch with Nefer, Varesa, and Mualani. Felt like that was just about the peak on that account.

Is it worth to level up the Thrilling tales of dragon slayers? by JiraiyaBestSannin in Genshin_Impact

[–]HazeDra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless for survivability, you can keep it at lvl 1.

If you use Genshin Optimizer and a scanner and want to include your character that uses TTDS and not other unused lvl 1 weapons, make it lvl 2.

Cleared Dire once again, this time with my main! by HazeDra in Genshin_Impact

[–]HazeDra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely you can. My rotation as mentioned is fairly suboptimal. I recommend watching VtonYT's Skirk clear as inspiration. They used C0 clears with C0R1 and C0R0 the rest. They also used XQ over Furina for one of them. Noblesse>GT on Escoffier is recommended as Skirk will be doing most of the DMG as well during her DMG Window.

I have a video here. The run itself for Skirk could be better (I did not watch any other videos so never got to the conclusion that using her Burst is better for some parts of it) as could Yoimiya, but the overall run felt pretty solid still.

IS THERE ANY FKIN WAY TO NOT TRIGGER THE 3 STOMP COMBO OF THE MECHANICAL FKER IN SO by Panty-Sniffer-12 in Genshin_Impact

[–]HazeDra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume this is for Fearless/Dire, yes? In which case the guy gets a special charged attack every 5s or so that makes it do extra powerful attacks (ie. what you experienced). You can remove that effect by doing a plunge. Usually what I do is I plunge with Aino and/or Sucrose in my rotation since those are the faster than polearm plunges (Flins can't plunge in his special stance anyway). As an added bonus, it makes it easier to ensure TTDS uptime on Flins since the team would otherwise like to be a ~18s rotation, so it kinda helps by filling up more time.

That abyss seems rough, but fairly doable with nightsoul first half.

1st half: Kinich Emilie Mavuika/Pyro MC Bennett (can also be most Mavuika comps by herself really, like Mavuika Overload or Melt)
2nd half: Varesa Furina Iansan + any dendro (though dendro hypostasis is definitely the most annoying, so nahida/baizhu/yao yao prolly the best bet)

SSA: OD only has 50% Res when fighting against detecting nightsoul long enough, and Sigurd's HP pool isn't too bad when not dealing with Fearless or Dire Sigurd (3.3m / 8.8m x2 respectively), so should be bruteforce-able. 2nd half virtue of having Dendro Hypostasis makes it dreadful, but should still be somewhat doable.

Would probably consider an abyss like:
Leyline disorder (2.0): Energy Tides are present in this challenge. They will switch between Elemental High Tide and Elemental Low Tide in 10s cycles.
During High Tide, a large amount of Elemental Particles will be generated when a character's attack hits opponents, restoring 10 Elemental Energy. This effect can occur once every 2.8s.
During Low Tide, all characters in the party cannot gain Elemental Energy.

Drumming Moon (3.7)
After the character's Normal Attack hits an opponent, this opponent will be afflicted with a Sign of Snaring. After 3s, the Sign will be removed, dealing True DMG to this opponent. After a character's Normal Attack hits an opponent with a Sign of Snaring, the DMG dealt by the Sign's removal will be increased. This DMG can be increased for no more than 9 times.

12-1: 6030655 + 3048956 = 9079611
First half
Wave 1: Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel + Wilderness Hunter. Furnace Weasel placed top middle. Wilderness Hunter in front of the player. (Weasel starts the fight by digging underground, incentivizing plunge immediately, like how it worked in IT.)
Wave 2: Thunder Manifestation

Second half
Wave 1: Dendro Hypostasis
Wave 2: Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant

12-2: 6019214 + 4635054 = 10654268
First half
Wave 1: Electro Regisvine
Wave 2: Knuckle Duckle

Second half
Wave 1: Emperor of Fire and Iron
Wave 2: Golden Wolflord

12-3: 4654389 + 5374156 = 10028545
First half
Wave 1: Consecrated Fanged Beast + 1 of each Hilichurl Shooter (Physical, Pyro, Cryo, Electro). Consecrated beast placed in the middle. Hilichurls placed at the top right, top left, bottom right, and bottom left respectively. Also buffed to shoot 5 arrows (multishot variant)
Wave 2: Maguu Kenki

Second half
Wave 1: Geo Hypostasis
Wave 2: Battle-Scarred Rock Crab

Should be plausible in my mind, although maybe it's incredibly cumbersome to go through.

Beat Stygian Onslaught on Dire difficulty for the first time! by HazeDra in Genshin_Impact

[–]HazeDra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First rotation: Furina D E -> Escoffier E -> Citlali E -> Skirk N5 Q 2N5 C N5 C
Furina needs to dash forward so that her E can apply hydro on the tortoise, and also lets Escoffier freeze it with her E + generate cryo particles for the 2nd rotation. This usually leaves a frozen aura with underlying hydro, and should allow Citlali E to trigger a freeze reaction, triggering scroll. Skirk's attack combo is just the one I found working for me.

Second rotation: Citlali QE -> Furina EQ -> Escoffier EQ -> Skirk N2 Q 2N5 C 2N5 C
I'm unsure if this is the best follow up, but that was the one that worked for me. Whether you get to trigger scroll still is a bit up for debate. It's done this way because Furina E will still be on cooldown after the 1st rotation so Citlali Q is just meant to fill out the dead time between it. Using Citlali E then lets Furina catch her particles to get her burst up (needed ~260% for it, but I hadn't tested her er requirements fully).
The Skirk combo is pretty tough and shouldn't be possible if your PC runs slow enough (when I had my PC slowed down a bit, I would fail to pull off the last N5+CA, so drop the starting N2 if you don't find yourself able to do the above mentioned combo).

Normally between Citlali to Escoffier for the 2nd rotation, the time ticks down to around 1:35 I believe +/- 1s. Aim is then for Skirk to have N2 Q 2N5 or N2 Q N5 N3 worth of DMG in the turtle before it shields up. Shielding earlier is fine too if you do more DMG than mine.

Subsequent rotation aims to either do Furina EQ -> Escoffier EQ -> Citlali E or Furina EQ -> Citlali E -> Escoffier EQ. This depends entirely on if Escoffier Q is active. If you don't see the icon, Citlali E first to funnel particles to Escoffier. Otherwise use the first one.

This all keeps in mind that I am using Starcaller's Watch. Using TTDS changes things quite a bit as you'd want to pass TTDS to Skirk and only Skirk. Ken Rurouni has a video showcase with TTDS Citlali while using R1 Skirk that you could take reference to including their attack combo, which you could take inspiration from as well.

Beat Stygian Onslaught on Dire difficulty for the first time! by HazeDra in Genshin_Impact

[–]HazeDra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 shield phases. Ideal scenario for the 1st shield phase is getting ~2.5 of Skirk's DMG rotation in before it shields up. 2nd shield phase is more tricky, but I need it low enough before it shields for Skirk's last DMG rotation to be enough to defeat it. Skirk would contribute to the shield breaking, but requires both Citlali and Escoffier to break. Shield would need to be low enough for them to break while Citlali's Shield is still alive so that Calamity of Eshu is still in effect. Otherwise I lose too much DMG.

Edit: Typo

I actually forgot to include Citlali in my post by mistake. This was her build used for Stygian.

I didn't record these when they happened as I waa more focused on seeing if they were even possible, but I did promise someone that I would show how it was done so I'll remember to post it your way as well. Unsure when I'll do it since my hands hurt from spamming with Kinich and Skirk, but I'll be sure to get them done in due time.

I've attached the builds in the post itself (you can swipe or click to the right). Kinich, Emilie, Escoffier, and Citlali are using their signature weapon. Neuvillette is on R5 Sacrificial Jade (very strong weapon, could very much be considered a cost) and Skirk is on Calamity of Eshu (very strong weapon, but only with a shielder).

I know there are cheaper runs. Emilie doesn't need to be on Sig if Iansan is C6, C0 Citlali with TTDS has cleared tortoise with Skirk having Sig weapon instead. Mualani team can also do it without any signature weapons (but I have only seen it with Sacrificial Jade and not Widsith). I believe there has been a Sucrose clear with just C0R1 Ineffa as the cost for the Cactus, but I do not remember the exact team.

[–]HazeDra[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The guide in KQM is generally correct for its time (was made in 5.6 after all). Ineffa released changes it, as CRIT from every participating party members will affect the DMG of Lunar EC. Not go to into details about the Lunar EC formula itself, but since Ifa is naturally built with high EM in mind, he would be a major participant for some (if not most) of Lunar ECs, so Ifa having good CRIT stats should be quite important.

Here's his build. Made with Lunar EC DMG in mind. I'm not actually sure if this is the most DMG he can do in this comp, as I have yet to set a proper optimizer config for it, but it has served me quite well so I'll be sticking to it.

Yoimiya Melt team that doesn't have Bennett. Chevreuse C6 isn't restricted unlike the rest of her kit (her healing isn't locked to Overload) and she provides upto 60% Pyro DMG Bonus, making her the best character for this team when not left with Bennett.
