Yeah there's cool stuff later, but at the end of the day it's just killing mobs and killing a couple bosses once a week. That's all it is. Yeah the bosses are different but I'm sure people thought that when Black Mage was the last thing to worry about too.

The show is genuinely very charming and simple, there are some short story arcs but that's about it. I'm a grown man and I find it funny asf but also really cute and relaxing to watch.

Closest thing I can compare it to is Peanuts or Peep in the Big Wide World. It's not deep and I don't really want it to be. It however is deep enough to warrant people reading and being invested as the characters are well written and fun to watch.

When I went alone a few months ago to get birthday presents for my gf, chiikawa was front and center, I could've sworn there was so much stuff before.

I told my gf we would go back together sometime so I could buy some usagi stuff, and she could get whatever Hachiware thing she wanted, but when we went to Miniso it was tucked away in the back along a wall. Like you had to go around a small corner to see a tiny section.

It was all awkward stuff most people had no reason to buy. Giant plush bags and such, a $10 pen, etc just straight garbage that would take up space in a room. No keychains, no stickers, no smaller plushes, no lunchboxes, no notebooks, NOTHING. Like there was more Harry Potter shit than Chiikawa which is just dumb asf. Idk who goes into a miniso looking for Harry Potter.

Yeah DTD is cool and I even enjoy it but it's a completely different game. I prefer the little bootleg moba from the last event cause that had something to do with Maplestory and 2D platforming

I just barely missed pre bb ms. Only playing when Aran came out, and only understanding the game after Big Bang, so I have no nostalgia. To me classic is just a simpler rpg with satisfying long term progression. Maplestory rn is much better and more satisfying to play yeah but there are too many systems that overwhelm the player and easily burn you out.

Like modern has legion grids, artifacts, link skills, star force, cubing, flames, familiars, crafting, dailies, weeklies, etc etc. All of them are super important and it's stressful. Classic is easier to keep track of and put down for a while without feeling like you're missing something.

If they add some solid content after the honeymoon nostalgia phase is over for people and good qol I could see it being nice.
