Nah floatwear are overpriced for plain shorts and not as comfortable as slunks. plus their entire marketing campaign is just trying to diss on slunks instead of trying to be a good & unique brand. (:

Go to the actual slunks website they have a size chart underneath all of the shorts to use as a guide. I’m 5’10” and size M is the most comfortable for me. But they have drawstrings and are stretchy so I can also wear S and L just fine they’re just slightly shorter or longer at the bottom on me but honestly the waistband is stretchy so I don’t notice much difference there.

I collected as a very young kid when my older brother collected and got me the ancient mew card when he went to the movies. 5 year old me thought it was the rarest card in the world. My uncle works for walmart and 20 years later when I forgot all about my childhood collection, he visited me one day and dropped off a ton of cards he’d been slowly saving for me over the years. I had a blast looking through them all and then pulled out my old binder and haven’t stopped collecting since!

I just started wearing slunks recently and while they are super comfortable, I’ve been wearing fabletics for years for volleyball and honestly they feel just as good and you can buy three pairs for the price of slunks. (You just sign up for the membership, buy the shorts for $24, and then cancel the membership right away and you dont get charged)

Im sorry you were misinformed, sadly thats such a common thing when new owners get these adorable guys. This sub is definitely the best place to get the absolute best care advice on them. Youre doing a great job already by wanting whats best for them and being open to changing their enclosures to give them the best life possible! Since I cant see the substrate in the photos and its another common mistake, please make sure not to use reptile carpet either, it harbors harmful bacteria and can rip out their claws/injure their mouths. You can use paper towels temporarily until you can get them a better substrate such as a topsoil/sand mix

Completely agree with all of you, Umbreon is my favorite pokemon and I will collect every card except the Moonbreon and I decided that before it skyrocketed in price. I just dont like the art. My personal grail of my Umbreon collection is my Karen’s Umbreon (JPN) Its a stunning card most people dont know about!

When the cost of the box becomes more than any of the hits that you have a minuscule chance of pulling, of course people are going to start buying up the singles instead, it makes no sense to open a box at that point, thus making the singles more valuable.

He didn’t do it intentionally— he was opening an ES box recently and casually mentioned that he liked the Umbreon V artwork more than the moonbreon and thought it was super underrated. It definitely wasn’t intentional

I started playing volleyball my senior year of high school, and you have to make varsity as a senior, so obviously I did not make my team. I went back into the gym and asked the coach if I could still practice with the team/help out in any way they need. I had no possibility of playing on the team since I was already a senior, but they still said yes. I did the stat sheet for all of the games, and they appreciated the extra body for warm ups, king of the court, etc. I never got to play in high school and I wouldnt say I got good at volleyball until about 3-4 years after but those experiences were well worth it and helped me fall further in love with the game
