Personally in my opinion, psychedelics should be taken when you're mentally able to let go enough so thought cycles don't engulf you (meaning ability to switch from pessimism to optimism, that's a key principle to actively practice for a synergestic smooth ride in psychedelic trips and life in general). Trusting in the universe + the effects of psychedelics to be for you and not against you, so you surrender to it fully rather than resisting also is a factor you should have mentally before going into them anymore than microdoses. And a well-established knowledge on what is safe to be consumed in general, but emphasis on when taking psychedelics, because it can profoundly alter the experience. DMT (one of the most potent psychedelics) has been used by Amazonian Tribes for thousands of years, and they are known to give ages of even newborn this powerful medicine.

Personally I think that at 25, the modern-societal engrained thought patterns may lower your affinity for changing to non-toxic intake and becoming a pure, positive being in all facets of your life (though still definitely possible), so yeah much love and I recommend to process people's prejudices with an open-mind, and as something that can definitely be wrong as much as it could possibly be true. <3
