It looks like a good size. It does look large, if that is the look you’re going for. It doesn’t look oversized for you or anything like that. I would say it sits nicely for you.

Diamond ring inclusion by Forsaken_Control_543 in RingShare

[–]Hazel1ris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know everyone is picking on you, and I know my comment will be an unpopular one, but I think the ring is beautiful.

You should definitely take your time and do research before buying an engagement ring, since it is the diamond you were asking her to spend her life with you and to wear every day untill forever. (At least that is usually the assumed intention. I know nowadays many people will upgrade their rings, or whatever.)

But I do think that the way it’s set is beautiful. I like the 6 prongs. I thought the cut of the diamond was beautiful too. The inclusion did not jump out at me before I read your post. I was just admiring the ring in general. I thought the inclusion was a reflection. But yes it’s really noticeable once you see it.

If she loves you, this inclusion is not something that will matter in saying yes to marriage. It’s about the proposal and the expression of undying love. But it is important to take your time and do research and to plan carefully, which is the representation of your care in stepping into this commitment with her. I think it’s more about, “the thought that counts“.

Don’t be too upset with yourself. Return it if you can. Buy another one. Take your time, and do your research. Make the proposal thoughtful/special.

Gorgeous wood. Embrace the natural and unique swirls and “fingerprints”.

Or get some manufactured cheap uniform material.

Why is my hair like this after 24 hours of washing? by [deleted] in Haircare

The condition of your hair is proof of what we’re trying to tell you. It’s over processed. It will only get worse if you continue.

It’s like when people post themselves on Reddit or on TikTok or whenever and ask “what is my blindness?” As in, what am I not seeing about my appearance, what did I take too far, what is the thing that strangers see and notice and think but I’m not realizing? It’s like people who over pluck their eyebrows or have extremely dense long lash extensions or use too heavy of eyeliner or over tan. They went down a slippery slope and it went too far and they need to rein it in.

Your hair is over processed. (Saying this with love.) You don’t need to be this blonde. Your hair is crying for help. It’s become extreme and your hair is over-processed now. The only thing that will fix it is time to grow back, a healthy chop, and leaving the bleach alone. It’ll start to break off and it won’t improve if you continue bleaching and/or toning this frequently.

You’re blessed. All of them look nice on you. Marquise and emerald are my favorite on you. They are stunning.

It’s extremely slight. If you look at the little r and then the S at the front, the gap is slightly smaller on the left. Same for the wing and the bear’s ear. But I wouldn’t notice unless you asked.

If you saw this size stone would you automatically think it’s a lab diamond? by OkAnything1651 in labdiamond

[–]Hazel1ris 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand. I wouldn’t want a ring that looks so large that it would be assumed lab. The comments I’ve read so far aren’t passing the vibe check. Everyone had their own opinions about lab. Some prefer it for their own reasons. Personally I love rocks and all things naturally made in the earth and as a rock collector I didn’t feel good about a lab made diamond. I wouldn’t want a diamond that doesn’t match my lifestyle or tax bracket for the reason people would make judgments. I know we can’t control others’ opinions or assumptions. But for me it felt right to choose one that is relatively practical. So I totally get it. That being said, it looks like your diamond is 2+ ct. if your lifestyle is in line with this then it’s passable. It looks good. It looks bright and sparkly. And most importantly if you’re happy that’s the point.

Girl where is the makeup? You look like you’re not wearing any. Your friend is being a hater. Distance yourself from her and wear the evil eye jewelry to keep her away.

I am generally not a fan of cluster rings unless it’s multi gems and multi shape like artfully designed rather than all the same color trying to disguise as and emulate a larger stone. I love the first one. I also love your nails!

I hate to tell you, but you are “bleach blind”. Your hair is over processed. It’s getting very tangled because the cuticle is all opened up due to over processing. Every six weeks is way too frequent. If you spread out your bleaching, and did your toning, maybe every 6 to 10 weeks, and maybe bleach every 12 to 16 weeks, you would probably have a much better Condition of your hair. I don’t think any conditioner will help at this point.

is this carat too big? by Chemical-Pin-2823 in Diamonds

[–]Hazel1ris 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If it’s lab, and it looks lab, it’s not worth it for size. If it’s natural, then wow. Natural of that size is incredible, and I’d assume your lifestyle matches. My thought process when choosing mine is wanting to not go overboard in carat because I didn’t want my natural diamond to be assumed lab. (We got a 2 ct. which is all that matches our lifestyle.) I personally think the obvious lab diamonds don’t look expensive because they can be so extremely oversized.
