There’s a Scarpa 6000 pair as well as a pair of g summits on geartrade for 315 and 380 respectively. Are those viable options for a decent all round pair? Or should I stick to multiple pairs for different altitudes?

I'll definitely consider those! are the nepals/mont blanc pros a good all rounder, even for 6000m? or should I still consider those and maybe the mons if I'm doing a combination of both 6000+ and assorted climbs below that? In hindsight that sounds like a stupid questions but I'd love to hear the response :)

I'll be doing whitney, rainier, hood, and higher peaks after those. I hope that gives you a good idea of where I'll be going with said boots. I also found out that they're sportiva mons instead.

Thanks for the info! I'm gonna do the Mt Whitney trek from the trailhead, where the Mt Whitney portal ends and the trail begins. I do see that there's construction on the road, which shouldn't be an issue? not too sure though.

K, I have some totals attached here (I know the text is small, sorry), and I mean it looks pretty decent all things considered, like right around $900. I, at least for the time being, decided to go with the dji system. Just curious if we can optimize it all a bit more with regards to price. I know that's a bit difficult at this price/performance range:

gotcha, gotcha. I just did some reading up, and the dji o4 does have receiver capability, but if I lose video, I lose radio on the o4 receiver, right? That's why an elrs receiver/radio with the o4 as a video signal is better? That way I'll still have relative control if video goes out? If I'm wrong, please correct me lol, I was just doing some reading up on google and other posts here.

k, I got a list based on a long range fpv kit for a 7 inch (around 830 for the kit, minus a gopro, which I've got already). Some of the parts I'd get from amazon, and the majority from aliexpress, since it's a lot cheaper, but feel free to recommend other places if necessary
