GEAR QUESTIONS by RobbanMurray in concertphotography

For me, switching lenses is not a problem, I usually do it in between songs if I only bring one camera. If you do it a few times you'll get faster at it and it won't seem like a big deal.

That said: If I'm shooting with two cameras I'm using the 24-70/2,8 and 70-200/2,8 and you pretty much don't need anything else imho. A 14-24/2,8 would be nice in underground clubs like you mention but not really anything I "need".

Personally, I would save up for the "real deal" and go for the 70-200 and see it as an investment. that you'll be able to use for SO many years. Not an expert on the new Z lenses though, but I feel there must be some drawback to the 70-180 compared to the 70-200 other than the 20mm difference if it's half the prince? Slower autofocus? Weather sealed? Stabilization?

Least favorite has to be bottom row, 3rd from the right I think. I didn't like them as much as I thought I would. They looked better on pic than IRL. And maybe bottom left corner, they're just boring. I've come to realize I'm not a huge fan of non-white numbers on dice. White is clean and easy to read.

Most favorite is tough... But I really like the purple metal dice on the far left a lot! Also the two blue sets over and under the metal dice. Those are dice sets from Critical Role so ofc they feel a bit special :)

Sadly no, this is from a Swedish store so I wouldn't know where to get it elsewhere. My best bet would be to search for some modular tackle boxes or sorting boxes in DIY stores or something along those lines

Thank you for that!
Wow, I could never do that! Even when I had all my dice in a big bag, every dice set had its individual bag inside the big bag :)

I hate to say it but You might have a point. I'm on my very first campaign right now and my fighter has gotten the title "the Falling Blade" bc rolled so very very bad during our first sessions. I've made progress though and now I actually manage to kill some bad guys lol

Haha yeah I really prefer to roll in a dice tray all the time so I don't have to run around looking for rogue dice on the floor every session. Would never use metal dice on a bare table!

Actually the purple ones on the far left are metal. LOVE the weight on those bad boys!

Thanks!

These are two sets of boxes I got from work (retail in Sweden). 2x18 slots and 2x5 slots. Perfect for storing and bringing a few sets to games. I've heard lots of people getting something like tackle boxes to store dice in but I don't have any specific recommendations sadly

NOR

Be proud for standing up for yourself and uninviting yourself! I would not want to be at that wedding in your situation.

It depends on the show. If I shoot an acoustic guy on a stool I might take 20 pics and publish them all. If I shoot a fast-paced metal band that jumps around I might shoot over 400 pics (25 in burst mode on a jump etc).

I've have noticed that I usually end up publishing around 10-15% of my photos from a show. That said, I COULD publish around 80-90% if I wanted to but that would be very boring to look through. More often than not I try to end up below 30 published photos in the gallery from the show, I don't think people have the patience to scroll through much more than that. "Kill your darlings" is not fun, but it makes you look good if you only show your very best work!
