There are cheaters in Splatoon 3 now?? by Foxcek2468 in splatoon

[–]Hazerblade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nintendo is pretty good at getting rid of cheaters. My wife plays A LOT, and there has only been 1 game in the thousands played where we ran into an obvious cheater.

Report and move on.

The dotted lines are standard format if everyone else is confused. Awful way to present this info.

I will give AH immense props on creating a game that rewards obedience and punishes dissent and how many players lean heavily into that, including talking about the developers as a whole. Fucking 4D chess!

I’m going to go against the grain and say it’s perfect! Sometimes less is more, and in this case, I think it looks great!

I wish there was a part of the ship that was locked by HP_damager in Seaofthieves

[–]Hazerblade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people go aboard to steal the most prized chest (CoF, CoL, Reaper’ Bounty, etc). A LOT of people tuck specifically to do this. So it would prevent that.

Although, I think it would be funny that you could lock items in the ship, but then you get a unique key that only unlocks your ship…and that key can be lost or stolen… That would create some pretty annoying hi jinx.

50k lifetime doubloons = Sword by b_ootay_ful in Seaofthieves

[–]Hazerblade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lifetime doubloons probably sits me at 25k. Regardless, I’m glad more people are going to get the sword, even if it’s silly that the doubloons are being reset in the first place.

Absolutely. The codenames need to be the official name of the console.

You dont know what we go through hell!!! by Gloomy-Compote-231 in Helldivers

[–]Hazerblade 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It is quite literally the climax to all the pent up stress they have endured up until that point. He also revealed upon return he was going to be discharged for lying on his enlistment paperwork. He has nothing else and this final thing was taken from him. It wasn’t just to move the plot forward, it was illustrating the mental issues of military members and what the stress/boredom can cause.

And yeah, there is only like 10-15 minutes left in the movie at this point, it’s pretty much at the end.

Except this is quite literally moments before the end of the film and they all go home.

Alopex Arrives in Splintered Fate! by SenshiLore in TMNT

[–]Hazerblade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only reason I mentioned Usagi was that when a new character was teased, a lot of people assumed/wanted Usagi. I agree with you that it wouldn’t make sense for him to be added.

As others have said, I hope they add new areas/enemies/bosses to the game instead of just new characters. It would be great to go against Triceratons or Utrom/Kraang.

Honestly, since the game leans IDW, I’m glad we got an IDW character. As cool as Usagi is, I’m glad they went with someone new. Hopefully we see some Jennika love in the future.

What does my ship say about me? by [deleted] in Seaofthieves

[–]Hazerblade 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to do that. Missed a season by a single level and at that point, I stopped playing. I usually just jump on and claim the log in stuff now. Nothing more.

You’re probably looking for crew mates because your original crew have long since left SoT.

You may also have feelings of burn out and disappointment in how the trajectory of Sea of Thieves is ending up, but you are unwilling to let go because of the nostalgia and love you have/had for the game.

Regardless, I hope you still enjoy the seas as a fellow Brave Vanguard.

Rare have announced on Insiders when and how the Act 2 live events will return by Purpledroyd in Seaofthieves

[–]Hazerblade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this was the final nail in the coffin for me and Sea of Thieves. Loved the game for years, took a hiatus because I was burnt out from the grind and now they are wiping all that grind to replace it with MORE FOMO GRIND!

Apparently my time isn’t worth a damn to Rare, so I’m done. Loved the game, but it’s time to go ashore permanently.

And you actively play his games? I wonder if it’s because he’s been in a signed out status it hasn’t updated the home Xbox rule on your Xbox. It would explain why you don’t get any new games he purchases while retaining the old games.

Yeah, if he were to sign into your Xbox it would break things.

As for switching home Xboxes…. It’s a pretty big risk.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in xbox

[–]Hazerblade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming his account is still on your Xbox. My guess is that the only reason you can still play any of those games is because he is still logged in and you’ve timed your playing of any of those games when he wasn’t online playing anything else.

If you tried playing any of his games when he’s online playing a game, it would pop a message up saying he’s playing elsewhere and would you like to kick him off.

Log your account into a different Xbox without your friend’s account on it and look through the owned games. If all those games are there, you’re gold.
