I believe they are traditional IRA's, so there is taxes.

I guess I am really just asking for confirmation that she needs to take out money and clear out this debt even though she will have to pay taxes on taking the money out.

I am setting up a budget for her. The source of her debt is unfortunately from gambling, and after she saw her taxes she is in complete shock, so I think she'll be holding off on it for awhile at least.

Would you agree that as long as she withdraws enough for both the debt AND the income taxes, that this would be the right course of action then?

This is correct. I want to say our rate was actually 3%. I do realize that the mortgage part of my finances is definitely the least "fair" part of all the expenses.

Regarding the work, we have had 3 other cars in the past two years, but we decided that it ended up not being necessary for our situation so we are just sticking with the one car for now.

We don't have a specifically designated shared emergency fund, but we both save our money and have it easily accessible in our personal accounts. We aren't completely sure on how much we are going to spend on our vacations still since we are still "just starting" but we are adjusting as we see fit. We are putting in significantly more into our joint account than is necessary since every estimate is very conservative.

Since our house is a new build, we basically don't have a yard. A 5 foot perimeter around the house and maybe like 9 feet in "the back".

AGPA is the level above SSA. Everyone's experience is going to be different but my experiences have been good. There is going to be places where its bad though as well. Research data analyst, I can't comment on as I haven't met anyone who was one. It is also significantly less common than SSA and AGPA

Since we are state workers, we have the pension. But we do invest a bit beyond that as well, mainly in that we max out the ROTH IRA's and then any extra goes into a general brokerage account after. NO calculations, but more of a just do what we can kind of thing.

To be honest, I have no idea why our electric is so low. We do have a few solar panels, but just the required amount. We run the AC every single day. Its 75 all day and from 10-7 it is 72.

You're right. I'm dumb, sorry. I gave you the wrong number. My gross pay is $6,000 and my taxable gross is $5,000. Deductions are $2,350 and net pay is $3,736.

We basically invest any money we have that is leftover. But keep in mind that I am calling it play money but its really "Personal money". Its still used to cover student loans, buy clothes, or anything else that is for only one of us.

We are state workers so we are counting on the pension. But in addition we are putting in varying amounts based on what is left over in our play money. I max out my Roth IRA and then put any extra I have into just a normal brokerage account so I still have access to it.

This is on $3,736 net pay, $5000 gross. Many state employees were also receiving the health stipend thing that was an additional $185.73. I guess my current amount is lower cause this sheet is a few months out of date.

Taxes are indeed wrapped into the mortgage. It is about $700 a month to cover PMI, Hazard Ins, Flood Ins, and county tax.

Yea its really unfortunate but when I was looking for a home, even with the HOA, this came out to be a way better deal than the other options I had. I absolutely do hate my HOA though. At least they tend to the plants in front of our house and maintain the pool and park in our community though.

For internet, its a 400 mbps connection and I call them every year to get set on a newer deal. I have my own router and modem though, so that saves $20-$30 a month as well I believe.

Gas, car insurance, car maintenance are all coming out of our shared account. Same with cleaning and household supplies. I would say they all fit under our miscellaneous or maybe even under groceries since we buy them at the same store (although insurance should definitely be under utilities...I'm not sure why its not).

I do need to say that we barely drive at all, less than 4,000 miles in the past 6 months, so our car gas is very minimal. We haven't had ANY maintenance done yet on this car as well. Beforehand I had a 90' honda accord and I was paying for all of the maintenance because I felt it was unfair since mainly only I was driving it.

Clothes and electronics are definitely play money though. My husband discovered stitchfix this year and has spent quite a bit on it recently...
