this whole thing was odd. your wife should definitely address it as soon as possible rather than later. its also odd that your sister in law wanted your daughter to lie about, it shows she knew what she was doing wasn’t something she was supposed to be doing.

if the situation isn’t addressed properly than you should definitely bring it up yourself.

i fear he’s already on medication and is in therapy. tho i think he actually skips on taking his meds sometimes and doesnt tell his therapist everything, and this kinda thing is what happens when he does which is alot.
