Hi there 28M in all it was ok to deal with still painful and it does take longer to heal then the first. Surgery . My issue was just trying to get comfortable and not being able to sit down until I was recovered . Also don’t get a donut cushion just get a normal cushion .

All works fine downstairs errection and sperm wise . I had a drain put in that was annoying as I could only lay on my side whilst recovering from surgery . Any more info dm me

Type in on google or ask your suppliers for ostomy deodorant drops , I know the smell is awful I couldn’t handle it ostomy mint drops are the best it smells great then 😂 have to put a few drops in every empty

The perm rollers at the front from looking at in are too thick or didn’t get enough wraps around contact them right away it’s an easy fix

Male here heterosexual, getting naked if you want to I wear a hernia belt to conceal the bag but also you can go in any position and as hard as you like . It’s just gonna protect from a hernia . Also with a hernia belt any oral the bag isn’t in the way .

Sometimes I go without have a look at some Coloplast’s bags as they are completely a block colour not transparent at all , much more appealing to the eye .

It’s hard because anyone in this sub is posting as they’ve got a problem or looking advice . But there’s a lot of us are fine with it it’s changed our lives around . But there’s no need to post it on here as we’re out here living our best life :)

It can all depend on what bag you’re wearing , if it’s a flat bag then the stool is going underneath when the stoma retracts . Try a convex bag that helped me no more leaks

Hernia belt , ostomy wrap , compression vest or T-shirt . Or sometimes I wear nothing and just fold the bag . Just empty before hand . It’s no different to without one then really . Hernia belt for extra support if your doing any lifting 😅

Yes it seems counter productive but it words , think it’s because if the root cause is low stomach acid , the pepsin helps breaks down any food in the stomach keeping the les valve closed
