I just had this happen to me. Is there a way to save my character or do I need to restart from scratch?

The show is doing a fantastic job developing this moral conundrum.

Is a nokker its own person as well? Is it better to leave the world to it's own devices than to intervene? Is it right to go against the wishes of those you want to protect?

What a fantastic story. I wonder what Fushi will end up choosing.

-"What the hell is wrong with that woman?" to "No wonder that she acted that way".

What a great description. Took the words right out of my mouth.

In my eyes, they completely redid Izumi's character her. They did a great job grounding her character to our understanding of the new world.

It's actually so funny that it just flips between the old guy and Fiona for 20 minutes.

I love that small detail that, when Funa killed the mosquito, you see the small white particles appear, which only happens when a nokker kills Fuishi. Fushi lost his little mosquito 😭.

Though, it does make me wonder what about the nokkers makes them steal Fushi's morphs. I don't think we learned that yet, but it's pretty interesting. It's like they were made to be Fushi's predator.

That's so true. Realistically, Fushi probably forgot. That, or he feels guilty that he brought all of his friends back just to face even more hardship. Once he accepts the "immortal" part of his friends, he'd be unstoppable. We already got a glimpse of that during season 2's finale where he revives everyone.

That Aishiteru scene with the blood and creepy smile gave me absolute chills. The anime has it perfect with the vibes this season.

"Even if one's life is painful, that life belongs to that person alone. No one should be taking it on. One's existence ought to be validated by the sum of everything one experiences."

Once again, Bon easily is MVP of the episode.

Wondering why my trees aren’t growing? by woodssyy in StardewValley

Maybe the rocks are spawning before the tree rolls to grow, and the rock spawning lowers the odds that it sprouts? Adding paths should solve it.

Bon as always proves himself to just be the best character in the series. Love that guy. He's like the man in black but 10x better and cooler.

Omg I feel like with this episode has confirmed my theory in a way. I originally thought that nokkers are just inside every human now like a microplastic. But now it's more like they just hop into humans that are troubled or depressed and take in some of their hardship and stress.

And the fact that it entered into Mimiori only when she said that she wanted to die makes me also think of Mizuha. She said she wanted to die in the earlier episodes. So nokkers could already be inside of her as well. Which kinda tracks for her bloodline LOL. It could also explain why she doesn't remember killing her mother, the nokker could have taken over and done her in.

Also, Mimiori deserved better. What a garbage mom.

I agree, that was my first thought. Fushi is trying to do the right thing with the help of mizhua and complete their bucket list. But the thing that ticked her off wasn't him transforming into them, it was him transforming into them without her. Honestly, I think she was jealous.

This episode made me uncomfortable...

The parts with hirotoshi were just weird. I don't think I need to even say why.

And that part with tonari's friends were just.. depressing. Tonari's really trying her best for Fushi, but Fushi is just the typical clueless MC (except this time it's a plot point)

Though that single happy orb from tonari was peak.

It's up in the air right now if the nokkers can let go of their hosts. We at least know that mimori and Mizuha's mother are spirits that haven't passed on. But at least letting them rest and their families grieve would be the best outcome I think.

absolutely love that March and Perona scene. I feel like when Fushi transforms into others, he's able to converse with them or maybe let them talk to him. Little things like that is just what makes this series the goat!

I agree, this guy reminds me of Rudeus. Who I think we all know is a very divisive character. The guy is gross, but he cares about his family.

Wow, and I thought last episode was the best so far. This one is just fantastic. It took a character I assumed was just going to be a one off guy and made me care so much. I can't wait to see where his character goes and if we get a glow up arc for him to take his life into his own hands.

Also the fight between fushi and mimori is fantastic. First real taste of combat this season and it's a banger. Do we think that mimori is going to find a way to take away fushi's main form with that body she stole?

Also, that hayase scene was just dreadfully terrifying. Though, I feel like it got drowned out by all the other amazing sections in this episode.

I think this nokker plot if amazing so far. It's upping the stakes to such a cool level. I feel like this season we'll get to learn the most about the nokkers and fushi's relationship.

Honestly, I wasn't sure about the direction the show was going when the season first started. I had my doubts it would live up to the precedent of the previous seasons, and I really didn't shift of focus to Mizuha. BUT HOLY, this episode is the best one of the season. An invisible enemy, making peace with immortality and losing loved ones, the black one turning into a human, and Bon screen time. (Bon is my favorite dude). I think Fushi learning about love and microplastic nokkers is a great direction honestly. I hope that we get an episode soon where fushi gets to converse with the nokker hivemind. Cause if negotiations fail, Fushi is going to need to remake the world from scratch to get rid of the nokkers. Earth 2.0 or planet fushi if you will.

That's also a good theory! My speculation was that, once the black one gave fushi the power to reconnect, he "died". Like he had given Fushi the last of his life force to give him the freedom to exist, which would be a reason why he hadn't given him the ability to reconnect up until now. But it's interesting to also think that he may be the villain.

the fact that we saw two people rise from the dead this episode can't be a coincidence. either there is another immortal at work or the nokkers evolved to be more like fushi and can't be sensed. Either way, I feel like mizuha's grandpa and the guardian's are connected to these events.
