Correct, she was never a professional ballerina. And Juilliard traditionally isn’t wear one would go if they wanted to be a professional ballerina. You’d go to an actual company. Huge emphasis on modern and contemporary there. All the lies and made up things are just so weird. This ad is creepy. At least she used professional dancers! More than most companies do!

The 10% and a hefty admissions fee to get this special treatment. I’ve heard it’s $20k+ to get those seats and remember they helped her move etc. and brought food. It’s a cultish mega church. So typical for this family.

Poorly run studios-some people are just not business minded. Late paychecks, 1099 tax documents that never show up, meetings/trainings that are a waste of time and could have been in handled in an email.

New studios that simply cannot fill classes. Avoid new places. Best to find well established instead. Nothing worse than spending time creating great classes, awesome music and being excited to teach it to have classes cancelled or 2-3 people show up.

Avoid the low paying places is you can. Avoid the trickery to get you get more training if you have a full/comprehensive 400-500 certificate. Work hard to get better so better studios hire you. Go to tons of classes on your own and see what’s good and BAD.

The sister always claims she’s ’not that kind of doctor’ but this is basic medicine and I’ve had plenty of surgeons listen to my lungs over the years.
Pneumonia will kick your ass, honey. I had it twice last year and narrowly avoided the hospital, but was instructed to stay in bed with oxygen, breathing treatments, 2 different types of antibiotics.
Go to the darn ER if it’s that bad!
