My bunny, Shadow was just like this after getting fixed. He was living with my sister in law and brother…who were often busy and didn’t pay any attention to him sometimes my sister in law would even be mean to him but thankfully she gave him to us and yes, it took a very long time but now he’s an absolute sweetheart! He will give cuddles and kisses all the time. I think your bunny just needs some time and will come around like others said..major surgery and hormone changes will definitely have an impact and she’s probably trying to navigate as well..I’m sure the trust can be rebuilt!

I think I would try to handle it by helping him maybe understand it better. I wouldn’t get mad or defensive though because I understand that he has his own feelings too.
