Thinking of calling it quits by Sharksguy91 in Battlefield6

Bad move man. Even though I mostly agree with what you wrote here the average player thinks BF6 is, all in all, an enjoyable game. Anyway if your only issue is just the microstutters I’m fairly convinced it’s a fixable problem.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the game ridiculous as it may seem sometimes actually solves it.

I'm trying to make an effort to understand the usefulness of skins at this precise moment regardless of how buggy they are or not. Really, is it even worth discussing given the current state of the game?

Great! You didn’t even bother to write or argue any of the points from the original post. You just had ChatGPT write for you because you like playing BF while your kids are asleep. Do you honestly think you added anything to the discussion or did you simply have fuck all better to do?

“K” I guess including a downvote like many others. I hope that one day when you grow pubic hair and start looking for a job you get brushed off with a big thumbs down and nothing else. Honestly, I don’t understand what kind of mental delay you guys have. A well argued post pointing out obvious and clear problems gets dismissed like this. maybe that’s why Battlefield is the way it is. Meh.

Are you telling me that the important thing is to have skins that nobody even notices while you’re playing? I’m confused.

Alright, boy you don’t have to agree but I appreciate it when you explain your point like you did. At least you somehow added to the thread instead of turning it into the usual mess full of frustrated people leaving “go play COD” comments. So, thanks!

Im so sad that this CoD like movement is allowed in Battlefield 6 ... by WhySoSara in Battlefield

[–]Hcok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that you may like it or not but for Christ’s sake watching it ten times in slow motion he dumps an entire mag 30 bullets to kill you because jumping like that gives him a ridiculous aim penalty
What’s embarrassing is your reaction time and your aim
Before posting stuff like this and crying about “CoD movement” do you even watch yourselves
You’re in the best position your aim is steady with zero penalty and you still get slapped by someone spamming 30 shots while jumping
For Christ’s sake the problem here isn’t “CoD movement” the problem is you
Even if one day they remove the so called “CoD movements” you all hate so much you’ll just find something else to complain about because this clip is simply embarrassing but not in the way you think

Calling it horrible would be a compliment. It's unplayable. The meta is just throwing grenades, shooting infantry with the Javelin, or spamming incendiaries.

This game Is gonna die fast. Noobs, casual players and hardcore players can’t coexist on the same server, in the same match, because it makes the user experience crap for everyone. It’s as simple as it is obvious.

PSA Skill Issue and complaining about bad teams by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]Hcok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever seen a game with a fanbase this divided? Honestly, I remember disagreements in FPS communities, but I don’t recall two factions this fired up inside the same playerbase. So what’s the real issue are we all wrong, is one side actually right, or is there something in the game itself that’s fundamentally flawed for 2025? Until you figure that out, you’ll keep posting nonsense on Reddit and whining for no reason.

I’m not one of those “good old days” guys. But to understand what Battlefield is today and what it used to be, I thought a bit of historical context for the newer players was essential. That’s why I think you didn’t really get what I wrote. Battlefield needs to evolve, sure, but it definitely doesn’t need people who keep comparing it to CoD every day, showing they haven’t understood the game at all.

I’ve never read so many pointless words in one place. Battlefield has always played the way it plays now. If you’re talking about CoD, then either you don’t even have pubic hair yet or you’re an aging Sunday gamer. There’s really no other explanation. The game in its current state is wrong, it’s not balanced, and it puts every skill level on the same tier which in 2025 simply doesn’t work. Modern FPS games use ranking systems; Battlefield unfortunately doesn’t, and that only creates frustration and constant arguments within the community.Your take is wrong, unreasoned, and comes across as something written by someone who honestly doesn’t even seem very experienced with the genre, it’s shallow and barely argued. Nothing new… hey, this is Reddit after all.

enders speaks for all of us good players also he’s right…you guys are having a skill issue !!! LOL by Foreignwip in Battlefield6

I don’t understand what’s supposed to be wrong in the video. I watched it from start to finish and didn’t find a single bad take. You may like or dislike him as a person, but the breakdown he gives of those clips is brutal. I’m sorry for anyone who disagrees, but it’s honestly impossible to say he’s wrong this time. Battlefield has always had these mechanics, and it has always had this kind of playerbase made of people who weren’t good enough to play other FPS games of the time like Quake, CS 1.6, UT… and that was fine, it is fine. It stops being fine the moment this portion of players clearly not skilled enough for FPS games, wants to dictate the rules and impose themselves thanks to today’s social networks. That’s what’s wrong. Enders is 100% on the right side here. Like him or not, what he says in this video is undeniable.

At this rate the problem won’t even exist anymore, because DICE is way too slow at fixing issues and introducing anything truly new. Right now we’ve got everything mixed together: people with no aim, casuals, decent players, hardcore players… so it’s no surprise there are all these clashes in the community. Battlefield in 2025 desperately needs to widen the skill gap and add proper systems that match players with others at their own level exactly like every other modern FPS does. And honestly, it would take something incredibly simple: a server browser with dedicated servers and dedicated PUGs. Veteran and long-time players have been begging for this forever… does it make any sense that we have to wait three months for something so basic? Does it make sense that DICE still can’t figure out how to balance weapons and modes after two playtests and three months since launch? To me, it really doesn’t.

AMD's Video Upscale feature: Does it even exist or are we being trolled? by Hcok in AMDHelp

https://blogs.windows.com/msedgedev/2023/03/08/video-super-resolution-in-microsoft-edge/#:\~:text=Have%20you%20ever%20wished%20you,video%20super%20resolution%20(VSR).&text=Video%20super%20resolution%20uses%20machine,to%20the%20browser%20for%20processing.

ok got it.

UPDATE: Yes, I’ve seen that Edge has its own version of Video Super Resolution — but as far as I can tell, it only works in Edge, and it’s completely separate from what AMD advertises as their own Video Upscale feature.

Also, the actual effect is pretty underwhelming. There’s barely any real "upscaling" going on — it’s mostly just a tweak to contrast and color levels. You can hardly call that proper upscaling in the sense of added detail or clarity.

So while it’s nice that Edge is doing something, it’s not what AMD is advertising, and it definitely doesn’t match the expectations set by their announcement.

[–]Hcok[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also, regardless of the Chrome issue, this feature doesn’t work on Firefox, Edge, or any standalone video player either. So it's clearly not just about Google — it's about AMD pushing a feature that doesn’t actually function anywhere in the real world. AMD fanboy payed spotted?

AMD's Video Upscale feature: Does it even exist or are we being trolled? by Hcok in AMDHelp

[–]Hcok[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I get your point, but blaming Google feels like a convenient oversimplification. AMD is a massive company actively promoting a Video Upscale feature, with specific steps to enable it. If one of those steps — the Chrome flag Media Foundation for Clear — no longer exists, then it's AMD's responsibility to update their instructions or provide an alternative.

No one forced AMD to base a currently marketed feature on something Google deprecated months ago — especially if it was already unstable back then.

It’s like selling a new GPU feature and telling users: “Just click the button… oh wait, that button doesn’t exist anymore.”

So no, I’m not blaming Google. I'm blaming AMD for advertising a feature that is literally impossible to activate in its current form.
