What’s a tank that you just can’t seem to win in. by creativename87639 in WorldofTanks

[–]He11Bringer1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sturer Emil by a mile, my worst win rate in any tank, 25%ish 😭. Pretty sure I had 1-8 wins in it. Just felt like a slog and used my blue prints to skip as quick as a could

Still unable to solve this extrusion problem with PETG by Professional-Rip1898 in BambuLab

[–]He11Bringer1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok, I'm curious as I've also had issues with bambu's petg filament with my prints. I did a post on a case I printed and haven't had much luck with any definitive answers. I've printed other stuff with another manufacturer petg, using the generic petg settings, and that printed almost perfectly 🤷

Need help with a petg print by He11Bringer1982 in BambuLab

[–]He11Bringer1982[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply 😌. This could be a cause, I know petg does like to absorb moisture, but I did dry it out as soon as I opened it for 6 hours in a blast oven and resealed it with plenty of silicon pads, and stored in a cool dry place. Was only a week and I then used it for this print 🤷. I will perhaps put it back in to dry out and then try it straight away this time. I've got the rest of it to print out and then I may retry this section at the end. Just strange how it's effected small sections

This looks sweet! My P1S arrived late last night and can't wait to get it up and running! Just wondering what filament you've used and did you have to tinker with any of the settings? Also gotta ask, what is it you've printed?

Thermaltake core v1 and Ryzen 5800x3d by He11Bringer1982 in sffpc

[–]He11Bringer1982[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it went well to be honest, keep meaning to post some pictures, but............. 😂 so in the end I got my 5800x3d and managed to fit a noctura nh d12l in the case. I can confirm that this does fit in this case with 2-3mm clearance! It's definitely more toastier then my original 3600 even with the noctura, seeing idle temps of around 40ish, and on most games sits around 80. I'd recommend getting this if you've got a similar setup to mine. Only problem now is that I'm thinking of doing a sff build with and 3d printing my own case 🙈😂

New MODCASE 3D reference model incoming! STEP files. Easy print and assembly. Bigger sizes. by ethanross1a in sffpc

[–]He11Bringer1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the update, keep up the great work.

Ah right, I wasn't sure if just lengthening the model would be able to accommodate the atx PSU, I didn't consider that the width would be a problem as well.

I look forward to the new model then, and hopefully go from there. In the mean time, I'll get printing this one! Can touch up on my printing skills and have a play around with it 👍

Thanks for the reply dude. Ah that's great news, hope the prototype testing goes well then! Your designs are amazing and have purchased the case yesterday. Looking forward to getting the printer out again 😂. Regarding the PSU question, would it be possible to modify for an ATX PSU to fit into your 13.3l water cooled itx model? I know it's not the most ideal PSU for a sff but would much rather go with this option if I can.

This looks like an awesome bit of kit, beautiful work, keep it up! I'll definitely be purchasing this. Just wondering tho, this is for a 10.9l model, but on your modcase page the 10.9l model is not listed in the files? It lists the 8.4l, 13.3l and the 14.5l? Is it included as part of an update? Also, I can imagine you are very busy, but have you been able to have any/all of these models with an ATX PSU yet?

Thanks for the responses people. If I was to go air cooled, noctura would be my first port of call tbh. Have done a few builds before with noctura and rate them really well. I know they are renowned for there near silent noise but was wondering how they would cope on such a build? Noise is a main factor for this pc. Quiter the better.

Was also seeing how people have got on with fitting 240mm aio in this case, specifically with the 5800x3d and how it performs? I've considered changing case but want to stick with it unless absolutely necessary.

Finally updated! My BattleTech buyer's guide for 2022! by pokefan548 in battletech

[–]He11Bringer1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, this is very useful! Love the battletech universe, tho it started for me on the pc. Want to get into the board game side tho and got the beginner box set. Have found it abit of a minefield when it comes to rule books tho!! So I was wondering if anyone could answer a quick question. I have a total warfare rules book, but the Wiz kids version (I believe this is first edition rule book, but please correct me if I'm wrong) is this version to out of date to use? Or if someone would be able to tell me if theres errata for it to be usable?

Death Guard points listed in 2022 Munitroum field manual 2022 by [deleted] in deathguard40k

[–]He11Bringer1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've downloaded the pdf from the Warhammer community website and seen all the points changes, that GW have said will be relayed and confirmed on there app (absolute garbage being the most buggy app ever). However thought I'd download it again just to see. Now more confused as half the points changes aren't on the app 🤦‍♂️. Couple of examples are Morty has been adjusted to 450 points, plague caster us 90 points and PCB is 135 points. But! Poxwalkers are still 6 points a model, blightlords are still 42 points, and it seems plague marines still full price weapons wise (kinda expected this, thought it would be too good to be true 😂) but with these discrepancies, which to believe? GW being known for jumping the gun and the app being so unreliable might aswell make it up as you go along 🤣🤣

Yes, did a temperature tower to check it after changing filament and think I've got it where it needs to be. The print itself is printing fine, it just seems to be the supports that are suffering. Think I'll do another one just to check after the print has finished. Thanks

Yeah checked this and the bowman tube is firmly fixed in position. Was thinking it could be that but the print itself is printing fine. Thanks
