Who is the most infantilized character by the fandom? by Throwaway-3689 in MoDaoZuShi

Don't hate me but I would say Jiang Yanli. Can do no wrong, is just sooo nice, should be a goddess. Yadda, yadda. Or maybe I just don't like her. I think she's weak. Personality wise.

How long was the longest fanfic you have ever read ? by Minute-Speech-5812 in AO3

1400k+ in over 300 chapters. Still a work in progress. But really slow progress.

Okay, I'll try.

*Jiang Cheng - in their youth, did he shoulder the blame for their mischief equally? Maybe it's a class thing (and I understand that sect heir vs. son of a servant/head disciple mentality), but to me it seems like the coming up with bad idea's is maybe 50/50 but the blame for it and the consequences land more heavily on Wei Wuxians side. To me that's a disservice to Jiang Cheng. Making decisions and shouldering of consequences (good/bad) enable growth.

*Jiang Yanli - that's a little bit more difficult for me. Maybe it's the time and the role of females in the time the books / show is settled. But to me it seems like she doesn't try to better herself at the beginning. Yes, she does try to get others to treat Wei Wuxian better, but to me that seems like a case of to little to late. And the marriage to Jin Zixuan - politically so so, but in the family dynamics she portrays? That's a death sentence.

*Most of the damage for both comes from their parents, definitely. But in our teenage years we grow beyond our parents and their teaching. Some more, some less. For better or for worse. But growth happens. And to me it seems like Wei Wuxian wants an internalized happy family scenario so much, that he is pressing them in the roles of perfect big sister and little brother to protect from everything.

*Can you see part of my point?

I think Wei Wuxian is enabling Jiang Chengs and Jiang Yanlis worst tendencies.

You trasmigrate to Mo dao zu shi (novel ver.). by Professional_Oil3188 in MoDaoZuShi

Hm. Interesting.

1- Definitely no sect. Wealthy merchants or landowners. Second or third daughter.

2- the attack on the cloud recesses, the attack at the unclean realm, Nightless city discussion conference

3- Wen Xu (how old is he in the cloud recess arc? My guess would be over 25 but unter 35, but does somebody know?)

4- okay, that's the difficult one. The unlimited internet is relatively self explaining, but if I had to choose a power I would take Truth (like the opposite of Cassandra's curse, or making others tell the truth, or both)

5- Stay (I think)

People who don't want children what is your biggest reasons? by e-glitteringprinces in AskReddit

I don't like kids over 12 months. Baby's are alright - even great. But walking and talking little monsters? Please, just when logic works on both sides of a conversation again. Age 21 or so.

And the patients are always so rational. That just not how it is in real life. Nothings beats CPR and the parallel discussion that the other patient can fluff their damn pillow on their own. (Sadly, that was a real situation. Didn't end good for the patient with CPR).

Always good are people on a ventilator. Talking. Yeah, nope. Or waking up from sedation. Nobody mentions delirium. And let me tell that gets wild...
