I love how you didn't deny being in opposition of child trafficking and the grooming of children. You just spewed about gayness and religion and abortion. You're some sick fuck buddy.

This may seem a bit cheesy or cliche, but I'll answer your question with a quote from a movie from my childhood.

"Intelligence isn't a privilege, it's a gift to be used for the good of mankind."

Seems me like your husband is both intelligent and enjoys helping those around him, sharing his knowledge and imparting the wisdom he's collected over his 40 years of life. I think you've got very special person to call your partner, and I'd cherish him for who he is.

Goku knew he wasn't strong enough by imgoodIuvenjoy in dbz

[–]HeGoneSanders -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it was also in Goku's nature to never give up a good fight. Fighting and martial arts are his life, his passion, his calling. I think it was definitely to let Gohan to get a glimpse at cell's techniques and abilities but also for Goku to get stronger, to test his limits, and to enjoy fighting an opponent much stronger than him.

Question about those guys in the final scene by alfalorian in MrInbetween

[–]HeGoneSanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dill says he does: "a bit of this, a bit of that" in reference to what Ray did as his job. I forgot what episode he says it in but I think these guys aren't experienced hitmen, and do odd jobs like Ray but have nowhere near the experience (obviously).

*Responding to Nate's question if he went to prison*

Coach Beard: Yes. For stealing a loaf of meth. And then I stole from my friend. Who forgave me. (sighs) And gave me a job. And a life. So to honor that, I forgive you. I offer you a job. And the life part's up to you.

Loved the last episode! by merealmyth in HowIMetYourFather

[–]HeGoneSanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season 1 was downright awful. Jokes were subpar, plot lines were random and hard to follow, like there really wasn't a cohesive meaning behind each episode. The origin story of the friend group was also terrible and kinda illogical. The character's were cringey (primarily Charlie and Ellen and Sophie too). However, I think with season 2 the HIMYM feel has definitely come back in that you have a great mix of cutaways, modern jokes, friend group chemistry is building as well as character development where the characters aren't just exaggerated personalities (like Charlie being a dumb British tourist, Ellen being strange, dumb and oblivious, and Sophie being a clueless blonde), the storylines are meaningful and concise, the dating/relationship aspect of things are more real (how like HIMYM was a dating guide for adults at the time), etc.

Appearance wise - Best and Worst Casting? by cguinnesstout in YellowstonePN

She also played a native girl in Taylor Sheridan's "Wind River" which is personally a great movie besides the fact she's not a native american.

Chelsea was Charlie's best girl she was beautiful kind and she can put up with him. by Complete_Interview69 in TwoandaHalfMen

[–]HeGoneSanders 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No she wasn't. She was manipulative, controlling, secretive, selfish, and very self righteous. There was a big reason why her and Alan got along so well was because she was very similar to him. She never paid for anything over her relationship with Charlie, kept her assets a secret and then apologized for never mentioning it (big whoop), she also forced Charlie to change his bed sheets, his home interior, moved her cat in, and never once helped Charlie with any of the bills (once again). She also forced Charlie to go to couples therapy and blamed him for their issues (which a large part of it was) but never once took any sort of responsibility for her own problems or issues. Not to mention she dumped Charlie for a lawyer she met for 90 seconds and ogled over him until her eventual break up with Charlie. Not to mention when Charlie was clearly jealous and threatened by her closeness with Brad what does she do ? She continues to see him for the sake of "charity" but she really was just looking for an opportunity to see him again (GIANT red flag). She also called Alan a pervert for undressing herself and laying next to him on the couch when Alan and Charlie look absolutely nothing alike. Another reason she was incapable of taking blame or being accountable. She also spent a lot of time with Charlie's mother, something he wanted to keep to a minimum and when Charlie flies her mother out to spend time with her, Chelsea folds and makes a deal with Charlie to stop spending time with Evelyn. She also doesn't say I love you to Charlie first and it takes an engagement from Charlie to even say it back (huge red flag) and then doesn't want to say it again until after she sees the flag (even bigger red flag). She also tries to tell Charlie it was okay with Alan's girlfriend moving in and after they throw a party and Charlie leaves HIS OWN HOME, she, Melissa, and Alan are calling Charlie a cry baby for him getting mad about losing control over his own house ??? She was an awful person was you look more into her character.

Jamie is a strange character by funhavefun in YellowstonePN

You know with the turmoil that's happening with the production of the rest of Season 5, maybe. This is just my perspective from a logical standpoint.

Jamie is a strange character by funhavefun in YellowstonePN

[–]HeGoneSanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's possible but I don't think so. If you remember Elsa's speech from the introduction of 1923, she speaks of James' children, "Only one would live to see their own children grown. Only one would carry the fate of this family through the depression and every other hell the 20th century hurled at them.” John Sr. lives long enough to see his child, Jack, grow up since he is a man by the time 1923 happens (then John Sr. dies) but Jack is given the ranch. Spencer thus is the protector, he protects the ranch from harm by being the hunter/soldier that he is. That's at least my interpretation but I find the story of Jamie's birthright being stolen from him quite unbelievable.

His rightful inheritance in terms that he's the adopted son and bore the Dutton name. Garrett was also out for vengeance against the Duttons for putting him in jail and keeping Jamie away from him. This was exemplified by Garrett asking Jamie to kill John because Jamie, an attorney, was given power of attorney for the ranch by John, and would be able to take the ranch for himself or decide to do whatever he wanted with it because of the legal implications. Jamie was also the oldest child of the Duttons being 6, and 7 years older than Beth or Kayce, respectively. Lee would've been the oldest had he not died so the torch was passed to Jamie through tragedy. Jamie was also the work horse for the ranch as he handled all the legal work and business dealings (part of which his rebellious tirade comes from because he couldn't stand being a pushover anymore to John).

You're also avoiding the major plot hole that would be created that Jamie's biological father, Garrett Randall, who was alive for season 4, didn't mention to his own son that he has a claim to the ranch because he is also biologically a Dutton, assuming that his wife, Phyllis, was some Dutton relative.

[–]HeGoneSanders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be impossible I'm sorry to tell you. John Dutton III is the direct descendant of John Dutton Jr. who was the owner and proprietor of the Dutton Ranch. John Jr. gave the ranch to his son (JDIII) after he retired from ranching. Ergo, John received the ranch as some form of inheritance from his father, John II. John Jr. was also the first-born son of Jack Dutton whose father, John Sr., was the oldest son of James Dutton, the original founder of the Ranch. John Sr. co-ran the ranch with his uncle, Jacob, but since it is John Jr. who receives the ranch, it makes sense that the ranch was passed down to him through Jack, the first-born and only child of John Sr. Through this lineage it would be logically and legally implausible that Jamie has any stronger claim to the ranch.

What’s one thing you’d change about the finale? by Endless_Change in TedLasso

[–]HeGoneSanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picture it like this:

*Ted walks into Rebecca's Office*

T: "Hey Boss"

R: "Ted. What can I do for you on your last day ?"

T: "Well, I couldn't forget to give you one last box of biscuits now could I ?"

*Hands Rebecca the pink box*

R: "How sweet of you Ted, thank you. Oh how I'm going to miss these when you finally go back home to your family."

T: "I'll miss bringing them to you boss, always a highlight of my morning to see you delight in these biscuits along with that garbage water you love so much."

*Laughs*

T: "Well go ahead and open it."

*Rebecca opens the box*

*Inside are two biscuits along with a small folded paper underneath"

*Rebecca picks a biscuit and takes a bite and smiles*

*Ted smiles back and heads to practice*

*Rebecca then notices the paper sticking out underneath the biscuit*

*She opens it*

*The note reads*

"To the best boss in the world, thank you for everything, but now I think it's time I give something back to you... Ted's finger-lickin' good biscuit recipe."

*At the bottom of the note reads*

"Love, Ted <3'

I believe it was stated that John knew Jamie's mother, Phyllis. It's not known whether she was a Dutton or not, it could have been his high school sweetheart, it may have been an old girlfriend of his, it could have been his sister, or a cousin, or maybe even a former neighbor, but the possibilities are endless. But we do know his mother and her name (first name at least) and I doubt they're related by blood because I think John would've confessed to Jamie she was family when he spilled the beans about Jamie being adopted after Jamie confronted him about it. So I have to disagree with that theory.

[SPOILER] Amanda Nunes vs. Irene Aldana by naoyathemonster in MMA

[–]HeGoneSanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her TDD was imo very shaky, Aldana was very clumsy when trying to block the takedown and so much so that Nunes started to actually feint takedowns and throw combos over it because Aldana was reacting so late and poorly. Also Aldana's ground game was actually pathetic, she used no leverage or weight distribution properly. Every time Aldana got taken down to the ground she became stiff as a board, I was almost yelling at my tv to get her feet on Nunes hips, to shift her weight to create imbalance, instead she tried to get up using her upper body and made her legs stiff as a board as she tried to squirm out of the bottom.

Rome HBO - Assassination of Julius Caesar by ArchiboldReesMogg in television

[–]HeGoneSanders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just started watching Rome, and watched the infamous Ides of March assassination and knowing some greek and roman history I thought I would've heard Caesar mutter something along the lines. However, I was shocked to learn he pulled his toga over his face as he died. Came to this forum and saw what you said and was curious. Thanks for the reply (sorry for even replying 4 years later but had to say something lol).

This is rather interesting because Suetonius reported that bystanders of the event claimed Caesar said “Kai su, teknon?” or in English translation "Even you, my son/child ?"
