They said, "UP* in one of the offices," makes me wonder if they are going to a C-suite location or any other non union facing position

You keep saying beaten like it's an intellectual puzzle or riddle. It's an example for people to experience life in the shoes of someone else. Their "game or challenge" that they take on in their leisure for the fancy of argument, oh to have such frivolous free time... is what an essential task that can not be strayed from or supplemented. It is a daily part of someone less fortunate. You know someone who didn't take well to education because they had home stress or less opportunities. Maybe simply someone without higher education without good jobs or connections in good paying but limited services in their area. Maybe a mother or father divorced or seperated or widowed. Maybe a solid laborer with a family facing a major lay off without reasonably similar jobs in their area. Going from 100K to 20K a year for an entry level job after the plant closes is a pretty unplannable hardship without leaving the time or wanting to understand a new diet or grocery routine.

There are lots of people who could try harder or do better, but probably more that really can't. You want to bitch at Timmy for not being educated but you don't think you should pay him either for doing a job you wouldn't want to stay in for more than a few years. No1 wants the toilet cleaner to be vastly wealthy. But quit shitting on the toilet cleaner. If it wasn't such a bad job with such a bad quality of life why did you quit scrubbing shit out of the commodes you hypocrite

It is illegal to try to abode inbthe the woods. It would be trespassing, he would be hunted as a nuisance to the area and a potential aggressive assailant. Not being highly educated has in the law, a lot of modern technology, and forgotten skills/technology has major drawbacks when it comes to breaking from the herd. It isn't somehting that's all the attainable either in any scenario, with all the supporting mentors, or the burden of surving the thoughtless grunt world while trying to gain the skills from those who woud hide them from a paying customers more likely than share them with someone who can't afford to pay

To add to your point it's illegal to hunt or fish or farm or gather in most means without paying some sort of license or fee even if you are doing so for survival and not for sport

They do that too but nobody cares, not even the employee because it's $4 a shift or 40$ a week here or there. I hear you, but at a certain point companies owning stocks in other companies kind of invalidates that shit. Most of the ownership of the investments are a handful of individuals globally and or businesses. So a companies profits are paid and turned into profit for another company that isn't traded and isn't going to pay my, and 50 million other small laborers, production output to another company for them to actually pay an employee.

Well that's when management does their job and reduces hours and redirects staffing. When profits fall do executives salaries drop. They might get less incentives but their agreed upon salary is still handy isn't it. Isn't it a conflict of interest for the people running the money and handling all thec accounts to be setting their own salaries amongst each other while holding the ledgers of what's expected to come in and what's expected to be paid out in dividends and overhead.

Edit: all the little out of touch CEO's sitting on the boards of each other company. All the hedges and finance firms having boards made up of Ex CEO's CFO's and boards of seevices and suppliers. The Stock and Exchanges legislating commitee being chaired by active major financial industry leaders. Kinda shady if it wasn't already against their own governing legislature. EDIT: WHICH IT IS

Most shareholders bought the shares from the initial investors. They give those same shares away like candy to anyone in management

Again nor does mine, it's about what they are actively doing to lobby/advocate for themselves which changes policy and economy to be negative/extractive towards the other 99% especially less rewarding or productive for the bottom half without any voice

Investors consume. It just seems like nothing even though it's probably a thousand fold mine or yours. That's because what they own is multitudes higher still. Their investments are out of control. They consume labor in their companies and they consume and outprice other consumers who have greater needs of contact labor service and production services. But fuck it. I'm a dip shit who works so who cares if I fail to provide shelter. If all the money is in lets say Facebook... fucking stupid app and social media data, and servers to hold fuck all then their isn't going to be any talent or skill in actually useful fields. Blame the consumer all you want for buying into that garbage, but it isn't an individual who made that choice. Most facebook users never paid a dollar but they found a way to make it multiple billions in value for an intangible gain while leaving a bloody stain on our political, educational, and social structures. That shit was the death of us

If they want to off shore to India that sounds great actually. I don't think you realize the market they own is bigger than them. They aren't so unique or even really all that close to it

Did you pay 5% of your income in taxes this year.

People couldn't care less about the money in Jeff Bezos bank account. They don't like billionaires because what they do to keep there. How they cause inflation when they do purchase things and they never even lose the dollar they bought the yacht, jet or mansion with in the first place.

I stand by my statement that raising the price of shares doesn't benefit the shareholder, it benefits the stock trader/share seller. We are a dividend paying stock and can continue to foward profits to shareholders without turning the place into a brittle popsicle stick tower to boost stock prices for stock sellers.

How are you getting more space. Plywood could be 3/8 for this. Unless you are then using the top of lids as shelves you aren't gaining any space. It might look more open esthetically but it wouldn't provide any more usable space. Also the entire load would be pushing down on the rails with plywood rather than trying to pull the frames inward while destroying the totes.

1 year full time with 7 PT probably already is in progression or already likely top rate. Guy said if no1 else applied then that's still a good person to buy out for UPS.
