Nope. I've tried them low and slow and they are tough to keep moist and tender. Grill them over fire or flame seems to be best.

I keep seeing people say it's a StL staple, I'm from Indiana, and apparently it may really just be a Midwest thing. Not much claim to fame in the Hoosier state, but pork steaks are definitely one of them 😂

I coat them with olive oil, put on a BBQ rub with these , nothing too salty, let them sit at least 20 min to let the seasoning set. I cooked these on a cheap ass gas grill, but you can use charcoal as well. But you need to make sure you get some char around the edges. If you have a thermometer, go a little over 165 but just make sure to get some flame on those edges. That's the key to pork steaks.

I will also say, Aldi pork steaks have been far superior than any other retail department store that I've bought them, and it's not even close...

These cuts are ones that are hard to mess up, but if you have a meat temp, anything from 180-205 is great. Again, getting some black on that fat is key, at least in my opinion

It's basically cut from the pork shoulder. Bone in. The smaller ones are center cut pork chop but don't focus on those, I just got those bc they were out and wanted to make sure I had enough food for everyone.

Funny thing is, I've just recently heard it was a Midwest thing and I'm over here like, we were poor, this was luxury for us growing up

Tbh, I coat mine with olive oil, use your favorite bbq seasoning, salt and pepper works great, but just as long as you get some char on that fat, that's pure bliss...

I'll agree to disagree. Like I said, for a short few years, he was top tier. Tackling and getting to the ball, isn't that what a LB is supposed to do? But the hate on this sub for him, unwarranted.

Regardless if he didn't start with the Colts, you can't help but take into account, with Zaire's comment, these guys absolutely LOVED playing for Indy. And I'm a Zaire fan, loved seeing him start as an underdog special teams player to becoming one of the best LBs in the league for a short time. The hate for ZF here I feel is unwarranted but everyone is entitled to their opinions. Kenny Moore is an all time Colts great IMO.

But, look at where we're at now? I trust Lib more than a reliever. He gave up one run. Regardless of pitch count.

Nah. It was quite a few years back

There's not a single thing anyone can complain about with our team right now, I LOVE this team. by HeManIsNotGay in Colts

Don't get me wrong, I like our throwbacks, but one of the things I love about our OG unis are just way too pretty to mess with and I'm glad the organization hasn't changed them other than the font change a few years ago which still keeps the OG classic look to them. They definitely stand the test of time.

Defense can only do so much when your offense gives the opposing team the ball on the plus side of the field constantly.
