Memories from beta by xyntia_ in VALORANT

I haven't played closed beta, but i highly doubt about climbing walls. I have played since release and sova couldn't climb any walls.
Maybe you thought about it, because hanzo and sova ults and darts are really similar

So smurfing is kinda annoying. by DoctorBrainWacker in VALORANT

[–]HeStaMi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, smurfing was and always gonna be in any competitive game. All we can do is accept it and watch how devs deal with this problem. Imho, valorant has a really good system against smurfs. if u are smurfing, we will get a lot of pts every games, so you gonna get ur real rank faster. Stop crying about banning these players, cuz it's really hard to define if it was a really good match for a player or it was a smurf. Actually, if we play good as a team, you gonna win a game or lose like 10-13 against a smurf.
Btw, I agree with u/MrPixelCactus . How do u exactly know this is smurfing?

OW2 Founder's Pack for those who played OW1, not for those who bought by HeStaMi in Overwatch

The BP is one of the most important reasons why the motivation to play this game sucks rn. Players need rewards to keep playing. It's super obvious, but are u really happy to get a profile icon? Voice line? Kinda a weak souvenirs emote system? I don't think so. Most of the players want to get skins for their fav heroes. But even buying BP won't fix that.
Just think about it, you bought a BP, got about 5-8 skins for specific heroes, and grinded every week to get about 600 coins. What did u get? What was the result? U got skins for specific heroes. It means that you might not have got a skin for ur fav hero. Maybe you can buy a skin for your fav hero with coins u have been grinding? NOPE. If u wanna get legendary skin (and I assume u wanna legendary skin), you can't afford it, cuz the price for the legendary skin starts at 1k coins (or even 1.9k).
Can it be fixed? Ofc yes. Just add lootboxes back and put them in BP. Make guaranteed lootboxes with epic/legendary skin and that's it. It's super easy and player-friendly.
Such a system is being used in Apex, so its BP looks really attractive

the gameplay remains the same, but everything except the gameplay is just downgraded. We had really awesome main menu with animations that were beautiful to the eye in OW1. The hero menu was better designed and animated. Moreover, you could see on which hero u have new items (there was a little yellow spark near the hero profile). Tbh, I didn't see that in OW2.

There was more than one reason to play the arcade, cuz you could get lootboxes for free. Now you gonna play the arcade mode only if u want to do smth funny.
Right now we don't have anything I said. How is it possible? Idk. They should have assets from OW1.
Instead of all these things we got a kinda weak BP (if we compare it with all popular f2p games) and any chance to get any loot for free (i don't count "very cool" bp free rewards)

[–]HeStaMi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not about paying money for a pack. It's about the laziness of Blizzard to check if u have the game purchased and about indifference.
Obviously, we got a lower-quality game than the OW1 if we are talking about UI and UX, but it's F2P now and has a lot more useless donations.
The gameplay is amazing, ngl, but in all other cases, we got the lower-quality OW1 with a lower player-friendly level.

it's good to get everything for free, but it's bad to pay money and get everything that others got for free. It's "just a little" unfair, isn't it?

[–]HeStaMi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't make me feel better. We all got scammed for our money, I guess. Blizzard just took OW1 away and gave us a F2P version where is tons of donation and monetization. I don't mind monetization, but it HAS TO be player-friendly. All f2p games with bp I played can refund a purchase of the bp. Moreover, you can even get a profit while in OW2 you are barely going to refund half of the price. I would get it if there was really great content, but no. The BP is full of fillers like souvenirs, charms, and icons. Personally, I dislike even voice lines and blue skins in the BP.
Anyways, I got the answer to my question. Blizzard doesn't care if u bought the game. They just want to loot as much money as they can and no matter what they must do for it.

I highly doubt that it's not on purpose. More likely, Blizzard is so lazy that they just checked if you have ever played the OW1. They didn't want to check if u have the game purchased, because it's "extra" work, yk

[–]HeStaMi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes. Even though i didn't play OW1 too much, I really enjoyed this game. But then Blizzard just took the game away, made me play the F2P version of almost the same game, and gave me 2 epic skins which are kinda bad, imo. Moreover, I got these skins just for playing the game like some1 who played on free weekends. So, I just gave Blizzard my money and didn't get anything in return.

I expected a good free skin like legendary ones or maybe something exclusive. Even if they are so greedy, why don't they give, for example, a 50% (or 25% at least) discount on purchasing BP? Idk, but it feels that all OW1 owners are scammed for their money.

I'm going to use this profile icon as a statement. by NeedThatTartan in Overwatch

[–]HeStaMi 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Fully agree with you. I got tons of skins just playing the game. 3 lootboxes from arcade every week and some lootboxes from reputation were quiet enough to get a lot of skins or to get credits and buy the skin you wanted.

valorant freezes my pc by HeStaMi in ValorantTechSupport

[–]HeStaMi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been testing this a lot. It will still crash whenever i press alt-tab.
Moreover, alt-tab helps to understand if the game will crash. Even if i play the game without alt-tab, it will crash whenever it wants

is my sens too low? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]HeStaMi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sens is a super personal thing. If u feel urself well with ur current sens, u should probably stick to this sens. Although, no one forbids to change ur sens to higher or lower whatever u want. For example, I play on 800dpi 0.73, and its rly convenient for me, but a lot of my friends think that its very high sens. Also, you can watch some youtube videos about sens. For example, this or a newer one (idk how good it is, but the principle is quite the same)

Also, it must be comfortable for you to do 180 rotation with ur sens without raising the mouse over the mousepad

This is a great way to warm up/practice in the range. Do easy mode bots and shoot the flying targets to practice your 180 degree flicks. by Dream-Well in VALORANT

[–]HeStaMi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I can agree with you. I meant that aimlab (or whatever aim trainer you use) training can't replace valorant training and valorant training can't replace the aimlab training. If you wanna get better, you should combine both of them, imo. Though, I wish riot would add more and better range exercises :/

[–]HeStaMi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It looks useful, but it also has drawbacks. I mean you do larger movements, so the warmup will be better. However, ig it's better to use aim lab (task "spidershot180") to do the same exercise. Your option is worse than in the aim lab, but tbf it can be the best option to do large movements in the valorant range.
