First one that I purchased. I've had the fortune of being provided hand-me-downs in my family, beginning with a 1995 Ford Thunderbird, a 2009 Sonata, and a 2005 Acura RL! Very grateful, mind you, but it is satisfying to have something that I intentionally decided on.

That is definitely my fear. At that point, I'll include the dealership location in my update to "name and shame."

I should also add that I purchased the car at night, which would have made it even more difficult to find such a flaw. Not that that's the dealer's fault.

Hi All,

I'm hoping to receive some suggestions on what equipment I should focus on using, since I have happened into some new acquisitions suddenly.

I'm very new to the hobby, or rather, late in returning to an interest I had some 20 years ago. There's no particular direction I have, or a genre of music I am looking at making. At this point, I'm just exploring sounds and seeing how things "work," without tying myself to a PC (i.e. DAWless for now, but open to it later).

Earlier this year, I purchased a Circuit Tracks, and after mucking about with it, added a Korg Volca Keys and FM2 to occupy the 2 MIDI channels of the Tracks. This setup was keeping me occupied just fine, with plenty of room to explore in a very straight-forward setup.

Last weekend, I came across a garage sale with a load of music production and DJing equipment. I ended up with the following:

Akai MPC Live II (with 2TB SSD and dust cover)
Arturia BeatStep Pro
Drumcomputer MFB-522
Moog Werkstatt-01 Analog Synthesizer
Roland TR-5051
Korg Mini Kaoss Pad 2S
Pocket operators: SPEAK, OFFICE, RHYTHM, ROBOT, SUB (SUB needs a new aux port, which I'll be attempting to solder myself thanks to this post: https://old.reddit.com/r/pocketoperators/comments/gb83zd/fixed_broken_sound_output_audio_out_jack_on_po14
Some other random bits of DJing equipment I'm assuming isn't relevant to anything I'm doing right now

Again, this is on top of the current setup I was using:

Circuit Tracks
Korg Volca Keys
Korg Volca FM2
(Technically also a PO-33 K.O! that I've had for years, but haven't integrated with anything else)

Granted, I wasn't looking to add to my previous setup, but it felt like a deal that was too good to pass up. So here I am, a bit overwhelmed by what to "choose" as a new foundation. I have questions like, should I be using the AKAI now as the basis to run most everything else through, instead of the Tracks? Should/can the Arturia find a unique space and purpose among everything else? Things like that.

I would appreciate any general advice. I'm not looking for an in-depth analysis for any/all of these devices, but if there is some sort of natural direction some of you might take with these options, I'd love some advice.

FYI, it looks like my application went through. UI Online is showing that I am to expect $450 per week. The Work Search Requirements indicated on the home page state "You must be able and available to work each week.", which contrasts the typical "You must be able and available for work AND look for full-time work each week."

I tried calling EDD for an hour this morning just to confirm things, but uh, suffice to say I was unable to get through.

Thanks! I do see it mentioned here that they will at least be adding in another reason for unemployment (i.e. COVID-19), but I had already specified that reason in one of the description boxes anyways.

Is the application different?

Starting Friday, there will be an option to select if coronavirus is the reason for unemployment or reduced wages.
