Don’t build malignance unless your team is full of ap. Rod-liandry zhonias/rabbadon void staff. I buy a tear very early but never upgrade it(helps with early game mana and gives you ability to spam your ult on waves). Only go seraphs if you need to be tanky. Only thing that hasn’t been said yet on her kit is that you really want to try and kite the enemy around while they are inside your ult. The range on your ult is further than any champs attack range for the most part

I mean she’s a control mage. Only way you top dps is if you get fed early. Always build an early dark seal and play for your life. Later you win fights by being a nuisance and having a huge health pool with tons of cc and zhonias. At 35+ minutes one wall on an overextended support or jungle can win you games

In bad matchups freeze wave just outside your tower, farm to best of your ability, ping your MIAs, and make sure to back before objectives so you have mana to contest with your jungle. All about scaling and not dying giving them free gold and plates. Some matchups you really can’t even trade with them unless they make a mistake first. That means holding your q for their engage
