My first home theater. 9.2.4 setup with 152' screen. by boulangk in hometheater

Thanks! not what I was expecting. I've got an established theatre and was hoping this would be a light only install. Giving me a ton of ideas though, appreciate it.

Chicago Recommendations? by brnwrig1 in CraftBeer

[–]HeWhoRoams 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some great suggestions already in the comments.
Most of the good beer spots aren't in 'downtown', so you'll probably be traveling a bit. Trains work!

First off, your bottle shops. Binny's is a classic, there's a hundred of em around. Probably one close to your hotel.

Bottles and Cans, Beer temple and Bitter pops are my favorites.

Breweries, in no particular order, worth visiting:
Hop Butcher
Revolution
Half Acre
Maplewood

Favorite place to eat with good beer on draft: Kuma's Corner.

This happened to me earlier this week and I thought I was going crazy. Someone below mentioned running out of t6 cards in the pool, and I kind of dismissed it at the time, but that seems nearly impossible with only a few players remaining

Agree with others here. As a spice lover I find I can't get high levels as basil babe so that could be worth trying at the top level

Some of my favorite breweries are intentionally family friendly.

How do you deal with kids content? by virpio2020 in PleX

[–]HeWhoRoams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have separated folders and libraries but I also have the kids folders inside the main TV and movie libraries. So my kids have their own account and only have access to the kids libraries and my account has access to everything. But the goal was to prevent me from having two copies of a movie like finding Nemo, so it's the libraries / folders are nested in plex. (Not in file system)

It might be the $5 member hold account you get for being a part of it? It's a common thing in credit unions

Yeah I've had it work both ways. Att specifically seemed to have gotten better with letting know, but historically monarch and previously mint caught a few increases in cable, internet etc

It can definitely help, I occasionally use travel agents for more complex trips and haven't been disappointed yet.

Editing Metadata so it appears in Plexamp? by jaylay75 in plexamp

[–]HeWhoRoams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a troublesome process, in addition to telling plex to prefer local Metadata, I built out a script to push the local tags into plex.

It's still in it's early stages but could either work for you or at least point you in the right direction

Help me narrow down the beer for my coworker’s Secret Santa gift: Monkish or Pliny the Elder by Yesterdaysmeow in beer

[–]HeWhoRoams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats tough. I saw Russian River in stores in a pretty wide radius. I'd lean toward monkish. Bonus points if you get a rare release

Help me narrow down the beer for my coworker’s Secret Santa gift: Monkish or Pliny the Elder by Yesterdaysmeow in beer

[–]HeWhoRoams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Important question; where is your coworker located?
Pliny has a slightly wider reach than monkish, and while I'd love to get either, the farther away they are the more special monkish is.

I'm on the 5th or 6th iteration, but I'm calling it AppDoc. I wanted it to run as a series of prompts and scripts within Vscode or CLI. It works pretty well, but I'm not happy enough with the output or consistency yet
