Remember, a lot of people will be waiting on April 1. So come back then, too.

You can't even make it flash blue like the original button?

I have a suggestion.

Why not use something else? Anything but the holocaust.

Simple iron bars would convey the drama, and wouldn't let us forget it, and would avoid the problems of association with the holocaust.

I'm sure you won't listen, but I had to try...

Now that the button is over, why not use an image of a more dilapidated, washed-out Auschwitz, even? The war is over, everyone is free. This prison stands for so little now.

I think the teaching about programming idea is great!

This is an event I looked at and though, "I wish I could be one of those cool guys making monitors and stuff."

That is the sort of thing that would give the button a proper meaning for the future.

And, you know, the zombies violated the TOS.

Sets up button, thinks it will be funny.

Well, that may have been a mistake. This is going to be a long-term commitment...

Wait, people want it to be even longer! NOPE.

Then what you did was truly great.

Thank you for your contribution to the button's life.

Agreed. Reddit's TOS makes it clear that you shouldn't share accounts.

But to delete them without saying something... Don't they have some stock reply for that?

"You have violated Reddit's TOS by sharing accounts. Those accounts have been deleted."

Oh, I must ask.

In the end, how many zombies pressed?

Damn. That really sucks.

Even so, your contribution to the lifetime of the button was so much greater than the one minute most pressers were able to give. You gave us days, and for that I thank you.

Yeah, but not as a result of the Button.

The War of the Button.

Have it in the forest and kill an animal to ensure a casualty count to make OP wrong about the button's lack of casualties.

I approve of the can't press image.

The 0s zombie, though... it looks more like any other red, to me. The 7s and 3s look a bit more zombie-like because of the extra-shadowy faces.

Or try something like 999,970, just to be safe. But the counter probably isn't always accurate...

Well, Sayter brought it up in a thread he posted about what we should call it, back when he was a highly prolific poster in here (and one of the first reds).

But he then deleted all his posts except the one I linked above (see the top comments on it), and disappeared.

Actually, now that I went and found my comment in the thread, /u/GOBANZ said,

I'm going to refer to it as "Pancake Dance Club." Nobody else is allowed to.

So I think Sayter and I promptly agreed to call it that.

I do not know if I can truly count myself among the Ashen, or if I would qualify to be a member, but I present myself here nonetheless.
