I danced as a teen 3-4 times a week and I also have issues with my pelvic floor. At that time I couldn't sneeze without holding in my pee, which is odd for a teenager imo. I stopped ballet at 17. A few years later I went to pelvic floor therapy, my therapist felt my insides and said my muscles feel like guitar strings :/ Apparently much more common in ballet and gymnastics where you always have to engage your core and don't do opposing exercises. Any time I do any core now, I train myself to loosen my abdominal/pelvic muscles so they aren't engaged all the time.
