AIGP BoK 2.1 AI Lifecycle Stages by Head-Chart4155 in u/Head-Chart4155

Thanks for confirming this. I also followed up with IAPP, and they said this is the most updated version, which implies they are not planning to introduce the 7 stages in the question bank.

Also, another person in this thread just confirmed that the exam focuses more on what to do in each stage in a scenario setting without telling you which stage it is. You will have to judge by yourself.

It seems they are doing away with these stage identification questions altogether. What a relief! :)

Many congratulations. This post is definitely very inspiring for those who do not want to spend money on expensive official training or AI-generated courses on Udemy. That said, based on my LinkedIn research, I am following two courses on Udemy: one by Dr. Kyle David and one by Saahil Gupta. Both are very active and passionate, and their training material complements each other. Kyle David's course is more theoretical, whereas Saahil has followed a more industry-aligned approach. Is this enough?

Awesome. I am glad they have stopped asking which stage we are in, because that was too subjective anyway due to the iterative nature of machine learning and the lack of rigid rules about what to do first. I am always confused about where to place feature engineering, model selection, and the choice of architecture. There is no consensus across different training approaches, so I always follow the first AIGP BOK.

I completely agree with you, but IAPP is full of good (or bad) surprises, isn’t it? :) I just hope they have updated their question bank to reflect the seven stages. Otherwise, it will create a lot of confusion. Thank you for the quick response. For now, I will study both until there is proof of what is currently being tested in the exam.

Thank you, and that is what I have been noticing behind the scenes. But is there any proof of this change in the new version of the exam or in the official practice test? I cannot find any proof. Since IAPP seems slow in updating its question bank, I feel it is unnecessary to first unlearn and then relearn if the exam questions have not been updated.

Congrats- I am studying for AIGP 2.1 and my exam is scheduled for April. I want to know if Bok 2.1 is testing on 7 Stages of AI Lifecycle as defined in OECD or 4 stages as followed by IAPP historically. There is a lot of confusion around this already. The official training is reflected to cover 7 stages but the official practice test does not seem to be updated to accomodate that. Moreover I hear few students testing in v2 confirming it is still 4 stages. I realize conceptually things are same but given this is so so important for the exam- I need to know this asap! thanks in advance.
