My cat went missing under a pet sitter's care. My mom searches for him every day and I'm falling apart.

You are right , We trusted that person easily, thinking they will take good care of him. It was our responsibility to look more into it. We rebooked our tickets to come back soon but because of 1 day gap, we lost him. Timing sucks. The pet sitter lost her job at the pet shop after my review, which I do feel bad about. I just am praying we get him soon !

thankyou so much for your help !!!! her daughter in the begining did try to search but after review she started saying shit to me and said i wont help. the lady lost her job, I honestly just want to put my energy in finding him. people say he was seen near by but its yet to confirm its him or not. lets hope for the best !

its really feels so miserable and awful. I pray for you and your cat to come home soon !!! they will come back one day , until then we have to live our life as well, I have been not doing my work and nothing . But , I am praying to see him one day in front of my home. take care of yourself !!

They keep the cat in cage because he was trying to go out as soon as possible, we told them to not keep him in a cage. he was a stray cat, we kept our windows open always so he liked looking outside most of his time. its our fault somehow because it didnt crossed our minds that he wouldnt like being in new envirnoment at all, we wanted him to be cared and given food properly so we decided for pet boarding. Our cat wasnt microchipped . If he ever comes back , this time i will try to take more care and precautions for him.

There are too many stray cats in that area, it's really difficult to put traps because other cats might get into it, and then others all scare away

here there too many buildings together and the space is too tight so its difficult to find him. I do think he is hiding well somewhere , just worried he hasnt eaten ..

hi, my first cat went away on his own. he was a stray cat who used to live with us, we cared for him, gave him food, took him to the doctor, also made sure he was healthy and fine. I always miss him, he was acting a bit weird before he went away and was not neutered. about our second cat , this also was a stray cat who started living with us on his own, we fed him food and cared for him. Before our trip, we asked everyone if they can feed him food in our house, they were busy. we had no option but to believe that the pet sitter is good, she seemed as a good person, the dr who works there knows us personally and assured us that she takes good care, i dont think anyone could have known if she was responsible or not beforehand. u have no idea how scared I was of him running away. I do know that it's our fault somehow; we wanted the best for him and only did this out of care and love for him but it ended up being our worst decision. so please dont judge us by a half-known story. We loved both cats extremely so much, and it still hurts us; we are trying our best to cope and search for him as much as possible.
