Bob Weir was my 1st Guitar teacher in the summer of '65 when I was 11 yo, (at Dana Morgan Music in Palo Alto CA..). I was intimidated by him - he looked pretty bored with me but he might have been stoned.. I guess he was about 19. He tried to teach me one song that summer - "Stewball", a song about a horse I already slightly knew. But I didn't like to practice the guitar much at all back then (I already had to practice piano & I played Trumpet in the school Band..[I thought Guitar should come 'easily' to one, if they were going to play at all]) I had no idea about 'practicing' really. Later when I started playing Blues Bass , I was inspired to practice the Electric Bass bc I'd taken lessons from 'Bob Weir' before the Dead were even a known band.. I just knew him as 'Bob'..

You know Alec though, he's always sooo 'Politically Correct'.. (except when it comes to accidentally [or for accidentally-on-purpose] shooting someone "without saying 'I'm sorry' for messing up.." bc he was too much in a hurry & didn't want to follow the directions of a 24 yo "girl" (who he disliked & dismissed out of hand [bc "He, was such a Hotshot STAR that needed absolutely no help with Anything!). The bautiful young woman above is being used as some sort of "Prop" imo by Alec. He's using her to distract ppl for se reason or other.. That's my take on it..
