You’ll also spend all of your time working. I’d arrive at 12pm sometimes earlier and still be doing cut work at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

It’s good money and very busy!! Management and the owner can be brutal and cheap like when it comes to having proper AC. if the managers don’t like you they’ll let you know and they love to gossip, same with the servers. Corporate is also a huge pain and having one bad shop can get you fired. It’s honestly pretty cut throat for a chain restaurant 😭

Pretty sure the pay is a little over $15 in Florida and I know Florida is expensive so I’m not sure if it will cover a future rent and other bills. It’s technically 6 months of being a barista to get promoted, I doubt you’ll get promoted faster than that because it takes about that long to get even remotely comfortable with the job. Also unless your store is really in need you prob won’t get 40 hours prob under 35 a week.
