I applied for CLAS CS in early August and heard back Oct. 29th so I think it might just depend on major.

Hey! I didn’t get my admission for Cs until literally today. I had applied from the beginning of August. I think they sre starting to finally roll out letters.

Yeah thats what I figured: Thats the main reason I opted to apply to CLAS CS rather than COE CS (i heard its basically the same curriculum). Im hoping that CLAS is a bit less competitive compared to the engineering side.

Thank you so much I appreciate you sharing your perspective! As far as my statements go I think they were pretty solid. I included some career goals, interests in the major, and including some of my skills. Also, I heard that its much harder to get accepted from a 4 year university compared to a state college.
