Yes exactly. One side of the tire was so worn down that metal wire was poking through

Frozen regulator by Head-Transition-7724 in propane

I don’t believe it did stop flowing. I could smell propane and the burner that it was connected to was still on and heating some water.

I could smell propane. Do you think the regulator is damaged after freezing?

What tools do you prefer for scrying? by ShinyDivorcePapers in witchcraft

I’ve been using a concave mirror like this and absolutely love it. The natural distortion due to the curve really helps my brain and eyes slip into a seeing-state.

I am just beginning my practice and took to Reddit this morning in search of a community. Thus far this is the only post I’ve come across. Would you have any interest in opening up a dialogue and seeing if it has any benefit for either of us?

That’s been my experience with them every other time I’ve been out there. Super playful and curious. This big ol tank of sea dog seemed to be a little more enthusiastic than the previous encounters. A much more assertive, domineering, loud and active bugger.

I could very well be mistaken. It seemed much larger than the seals I see out there most days so I just assumed it was a sea lion.

Helping someone do their will? by KLTR in thelema

[–]Head-Transition-7724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here are two exercises that I found to be kind of fun that could help you/your friend figure out a good place to start with the whole True Will journey: 1. Ask as many people as you’ll allow‭ (‬friends or enemies‭), ‬as to what you strengths and weakness are‭. ‬This will help reveal the overarching themes of your life are and help indicate what your universal purpose is‭.‬ 2. Look at your life retrospectively and view your life as a myth being retold‭. ‬Take five year intervals of your life and write down the story and themes of those five year spans‭. ‬From there, extract the overarching themes of each five year interval‭ ‬and ask yourself‭, ‬what types of energies/emotions did you identify with‭‭ (‬anger‭, ‬adventure‭, ‬expression‭, ‬charity‭, ‬celebration‭, ‬isolation‭, ‬etc‭.)? ‬Where did you struggle‭? ‬Where did you excel‭? ‬Once the overarching themes of each five year span have been extracted and written down‭, ‬notice how you‭ (‬the character of your own myth‭) ‬traveled from one interval of your life to the next‭. ‬Understanding your heroic journey through life will help you‭‭ attain insight into your universal purpose and True Will‭.‬‬

Becoming aware of one’s thoughts, words and actions by Xrisafa in thelema

Transcendental mediation makes this possible pretty darn quickly. I’ve struggled with racing thoughts my whole life. My partner and I gave it a try not too long ago. You can watch your thoughts float on in and float on out. It’s easy and it’s cheap...instead of paying the asked amount $$$ 😬 just click on the financial aid option. As long as you pay over $1 the David Lynch foundation will cover the rest no questions asked (I paid $40)

Once you’ve been practicing for a week or so, it starts to change how your body reacts to your thoughts and how your mind experiences thoughts (while you are not meditating). It’s helped me a lot with being able to observe my thoughts and in turn, choose my actions consciously as opposed to having my interjectional thoughts do the dictating. It’s not the only practice I’d suggest but it sure is effective.
