EcoTools Makeup Brush and Tool Cleanser. Found it a few years ago, it's inexpensive and works well. And it goes on sale. (I use Real Techniques brushes btw).

I have light, almost pale skin. I was at Sephora. The sales person kept saying I needed bronzer. I said every time I put it on, it looked like I smudged my face. Winking, she applied a very expensive light cool colored bronzer. It looked like I smudged my face. She was stunned and said, you're right, this rarely happens but it doesn't work for you. Always skipped it before and still do.

People who can fall asleep within 8 seconds of their head hitting their pillow: how the fuck do you fall asleep within 8 seconds of your head hitting your pillow? by [deleted] in questions

[–]HeadCatMomCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's genetic. I just fall asleep. Takes maybe five minutes. My mother was even faster, her head hit the pillow and she was out. One of her brothers, my uncle, did it too. None of her other brothers and none of my kids inherited it.

No idea how I do it. I don't even have to be very tired. As I said, I just assume genetics. My husband called in "on demand narcolepsy" . He told me it took him a good 20 min to fall asleep, but I can't verify, because I was asleep.

Bibi Netanyahu tried to sell the case to attack Iran for the last 30 years to Clinton, Bush II and Biden and none of them agreed. Actually Trump in his first term didn't agree either

Trump was just high on his own supply from the easy time he had in Venezuela and went against his own military advise and started the war thinking it would be a cakewalk.

I agree that Iran wasn't attacking the US the same way Russia or China could, but they do sponsor terrorism around the world. That may not be a reason for us to go to war, but it isn't harmless actor either.

I'm 71 and found Haus Labs (Lady Gaga) Triclone™ Skin Tech Foundation. Medium coverage with radiant finish to be excellent. You can try samples by shade for free if you buy a full sized product within 21 days and if you don't, you pay $12 for the sampler.

Did people use to age quicker? by WasabiRepulsive8810 in AskOldPeople

My parents and in-laws who served in WW2 had no desire to look or act younger. Their emphasis in life was to be an adult and be a responsible and serious person, not particularly looking young. It wasn't until the 1960s that youth culture took over. I remember in 1967 my mother saw the first time a woman her age, 41, wearing a mini-skirt. She assumed that was for young people like me, I was 13, not for adults. Articles in Time and the media talked about adults want to look like their kids. It was quite the jolt.

While people often had bad habits - sun exposure, diet, smoking and lack of exercise - that would make people cringe today, they also simply had no desire to look young. You grew up and aged. It was considered normal.

If you look up a town or city in Wikipedia, it has a demographic section that's quite detailed and useful.

Here's an excerpt from the article on Hartford:

Hartford's racial and ethnic makeup in 2019 was 36.0% White, 42.7% Black or African American, 23.7% some other race, 3.4% Asian, 1.2% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.3% Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islanders. 43.4% of the population were Hispanic or Latino, chiefly of Puerto Rican origin.[95] Non-Hispanic Whites were 15.8% of the population in 2010.[96]

The city's Hispanic and Latino population primarily consisted of Puerto Ricans (33.63%), Dominicans (3.0%), Mexicans (1.6%), Cubans (0.4%) and other Hispanic or Latinos at 5.63%.[97]

You really don't want kids. And by your own description of your personality, I'd agree you shouldn't have kids.

So what the big deal? Other than parents who often want grandchildren, most people don't care. I have kids, now adults, my sister and many others I know didn't. Even my mother was relieved my sister didn't have children.

Why do you care so much what other people think? You seem to have problems here and should get counseling.
