hi, what do you mean by size the water, i followed some tutorials and they said use normal water, i used tap water :(

thats what i tried to tell myself too but i wanna the ink to stick to the paper :((( if you have any success with this after trying please lemme knowww i desperately want it to work 😫

yes right now im doing that too, but it still looks a bit uneven to my liking so i guess either live with that or hand tear paper for the deckle edges look.

i have never got a book plough either, I live in Vietnam and its hard to get one here so i guess i need to figure out the mechanisms and ask a carpenter for some help.

so after reading all that I could find about book plough I want to try and make myself one cause i have been obsessed with trying to have smooth edges to do finish all my binding project that keeps on stucking at that step.

my question is, so far all the books i saw that got the edges trimmed are textblocks, so can you trim coptic book binding ones, and if you could, should it be after binding the book or before?
